Pretty sure £50 was max allowed on an unrestricted account although I could be wrong.

First attempted bet doesn't matter, I always just type in 111111 to see what the max is.

They don't have a max button, you just have to manipulate their awful software to find it out.

Great bet Chomps, 4-1 on a 2's shot max imo.

Sure I heard them say Aikster was in the overs last night, but there's a small chance it was someone else.

Yuh, Cowell sayed "Looks like the overs is the category" or some such over the weekend.

Oldies going back to back? Hope not, as I'm only on the Middlemas bird, but valoo is valoo.

For those that didn't see the Ectot race, somebody has put it on youtube.  The trainer had said to drop him in behind, and go easy on the horse after the long lay off.  If the race finished a furlong earlier it would have looked even more impressive.  As it was the horse was a lot more impressive than I expected, I was just hoping for a lively outsider.  As it is I think there is every chance we start favourite.

It starts about 2.20, our horse certainly gets dropped in behind well.  I assume the others catch because the jockey is just taking it easy.

Anyone on hughes for top jockey who wants to lock in at 5/1 on moore should head to 888/unibet for their 5/1.  People asking for much shorter on bf.  Looks a good spot to smooth variance and get a 2nd winning bet.

Championship tomorrow.

What do you think about these two....

Cardiff 8/5 at home to Middlesborough

Looks big to me, Cardiff haven't set the Championship on fire but still have some quality players at this level.

Rotherham 12/5 at Bolton

Bolton were awful on Saturday and managed a draw at home to Wednesday who had 24 shots on goal and should have won. Rotherham are a motivated, well run outfit currently.

I'd appreciate your views.

I got burned on Saturday but it seems to me Middlesboro are generally too short in their matches at the moment, untill they prove themselve genuine top 6 contenders.

Thought Etcot was very impressive and just didn't do a tap once in front. They'll hold on to him much longer in the Arc I fancy.

For those who bet with Scuy and have a free bet they're desperate to get rid of spin up, they're top price (10/1) on TY Hilton to score the first touchdown in the overnight Handegg game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Indianapolis Colts, thanks to a price boost.

Also top price on Zach Ertz (16/1), who plays for the Eagles and is a bit of a beast. He could get some yards tonight, having had a good week one (three catches over 25 yards) and up against a linebacker/safety mismatch in the defence, with the cornerbacks looking at Maclin and Cooper. This is the same defence that gave up a lot to Julius Thomas last week, who is also a tight end.

Went route nit personally and plumped for Hilton in the home team, but happy to hear suggestions if anyone has them.

Obviously, not Fred stuff, but if there's one that Hills are top price in and we have anything to throw at it, at least there's scope to do so.

Just basically said exactly the same as you about ertz.  Was pretty surprised he is such a big price to be first TD scorer.  They seem to like him and if they have watched any game tape from last week then he should get a decent number of targets

Stuart has an article out on Indyref

free to read, no registration required

http://www.bettingemporium.com/tips/index/63

it broadly mirrors our position where we are heavy on 45-50% with a Yes saver. Our only losing result is Yes <45%

Hopefully this will finally get ladbrokes to cut their redic 13/8 price on 45-50% which is forcing the bf price of the band to stay too high by the arbers and stopping me from laying the right price.  Hills are 10/11 the same bet.

Does this just mean Ladbrokes are laying off their exposure?

(In before someone says £11.83)

We have a £4.5k forward book and it is getting difficult to manage from an admin point of view, assuming reasonable standards of reporting so i need to catch up on things i have missed

- Hearts drew 0-0 at the weekend in the Scottish Championship

Hearts are top after five games, a point ahead of Rangers, and we have 7/2 each way 1/3 top 2

- In the NFL the following link takes you through to the rookie WR numbers after two games. We have Cooks and Benjamin. Benjamin dropped three passes yesterday, which is a bit frustrating, but we are very much in the mix here as the only rookie RB featuring heavily is Jeremy Hill of Cincinnati and no QBs are starting, so one of these WR's should scoop OROY. At the time of placing the bets Sammy Watkins of the Bills was favourite, and still must be considered so, as a rare talent. The consensus, which i subscribed to, was that the Bills had no quarterback and that Watkins was a potentially great player in a potentially poor situation. At this early stage, his team is doing well and his quarterback is out-performing expectations

http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&statisticCategory=RECEIVING&season=2014&seasonType=REG&experience=0&tabSeq=0&qualified=true&Submit=Go

- For Defensive rookie of the year, we definitely have a shot. Aaron Donald has 6 tackles and a further 4 tackles for loss in his first two games, the ante-post favourite Clowney is injured and its not a field with a lot of depth at this stage

- CLT20 qualification scenarios for tomorrow, where we need a Lahore Lions result to see our 40/1 bet through to the main competition

- On Treve, the racing post is carrying the following article

http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse-racing/mme-c-head-maarek-al-shaqab-racing-longchamp-longchamp-arc-de-triomphe-treve-still-on-course-for-arc-says-head-maarek/1720043/latest/#newsArchiveTabs=last7DaysNews

"CRIQUETTE HEAD-MAAREK will continue to prepare Treve for a Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe title defence following discussions with owner Sheikh Joaan Al Thani, in the wake of the filly's fourth-placed effort in Sunday's Prix Vermeille.

Early indications are that Treve has taken her exertions at Longchamp well and that she is physically none the worse for the race, which marked her return to action following treatment for a back injury sustained at Ascot in June."

- In the NFL the books have smacked the punters in the first two weeks, as this article explains. Results like the Browns and Bears yesterday were big dog winners

http://linemakers.sportingnews.com/nfl/2014-09-15/nfl-week-2-betting-results-favorite-ats-record-saints-browns-score-bears-49ers

- Teams that received less than 40% of public money are 15-6 against the spread in the first two weeks

Does this just mean Ladbrokes are laying off their exposure?

Their 'head of politics' blogged that he will lose his job if the yes vote wins so i assume they are totally full of the yes vote (esp yes 55%+ which they have laid for lumps at huge prices) so i assume they are happy to 'give it away' laying this shortie at 13/8 which should be odds on and still win on the heat but in the process set fire to bundles of EV on previously laid bets in doing so.  World's biggest bookmaker they used to claim!
