Will lay you a tenner e/w on Dolniya at 40/1

Thanks Doobs.

Not sure if Tighty is still around, as I know he's off to watch Leicester City beat Burnley today.

Don't want to tread on his little toes, but if he does not come back on, yes please, we'll take that, thank you.

Keep those baseball stories coming Tighty, what a run we have had this season with those.

Huge underdogs the Kansas City Royals are 2-0 up with three games to play, and now head back to the mid-west for the third game with their ace pitcher James Shields on the mound

One more win, with 3 to play...........

Doobs and I must have some sort of telepathy going. Bit spooky. I'd have happily taken 16/1 and 33/1 those two.

By the way, Ascot watered the other day, even though I make it October and it wasn't even good/firm. Yesterday it rode on the soft side of good according to the midget crooks and today it's pissing it down in the West country and heading across the country. Redcar is also good and just good to firm in places because they watered too. Now they are expecting rain.

So all week we've had shit racing with barely 8 runners in any races at all and now the best day of the week has arrived and the racing will be run and false ground.

I guess the 4.50 will have a few non-runners, hopefully not our two.

This is a conspiracy between the BHA and the big bookmakers to boost the levy and I think it's disgraceful.

The rain has just started.

The Met Ofice rate the probability of heavy rain at Ascot between Noon & 2pm as 95%.......

Makes sense, I'm 5 miles east of Ascot, & it has just started here.

Will that throw up any good betting opportunities?

Almargo is out of the 3.50. Blaine and Redvers will probably come out. Will be soft there. Certainly a chance that both of our two come out. Rain is bad for Muthmir in the 2.05, makes this race a great each-way heat. Steps and Justice Day won't mind any rain.

Views on Mission Approved? Ground shouldn't be a concern, should it?

Am on esoterique in the sun chariot, although concerned that anything called ESO will finish mid-pack.

Was thinking we might get a far-rail bias at Ascot today if it goes soft but they've pulled the rails in on either side, by 9yds up the near side and by 7yds up the far side. Think I'd still rather be low but it's unlikely to be a major edge.

Having punted both Neils horses when the markets first came out, I was feeling quite happy, but with the rains coming, I think they may go far side, based on similar ground to last year where they went there last year.

Last year was won by Heavens Guest, and Fahey makes positive noises in the Life, but looking at the race, a horse further back was rather unlucky in running. He has run ok this year, never beaten far, and back on a C&D he has won over, and a draw that now looks in his favour, a TFT fav Sirius Prospect looks big at 25-1

I like that one Adz. Think he'll like the rain and he's been pretty unlucky at times. I do think the race will fall below 16 runners though so I won't be placing any ew bets in the race today.

Thanks Adzy.

Think Tighty is AWOL now, so I'm in charge.

EW? Not sure, due to the possibility of Non-Runners. Please advise.

How much were you thinking for Fred? Think we have 2 bets already, for decent amounts, but no harm in adding another. Think I can still get 25/1 in a few spots.
