Steps performance might be better best forgotten?

If it doesn't rain it'll be a tragedy.

Think it's on the drift. Gone 5, 6, 7, 8

Perfect. Here we gogogo.

Click on the lay side of Muthmir. Make the price 2.44. Enter the amount as 500 and submit.

Then just be online at around 1.45pm to put the back in place.

Sigh.

The deed is done. Probably. Matched & everything.

Lay (Bet Against)   Backer's
 odds   Backer's
 stake   Your
 liability
Muthmir2.39 £500.00  £697.25
Ref: 41979880496 Matched: 11:26 04-Oct-14

You do realise thats the biggest bet I have ever done, probably Fred, too?

On a brighter note, the rain has passed & the sun is shining now, lovely day.

I'm off to bed shortly, for a nap, I'll set the alarm for 2pm.

I deffo clicked "2.44", biut I just realised the slip shows "2.39".

Why that?

It now reads like this......

Lay (Bet Against)   Backer's
 odds   Backer's
 stake
Payout
Liability
Muthmir2.38 £30.53  £42.13
Muthmir2.38 £16.53  £22.81
Muthmir2.38 £10.86  £14.98
Muthmir2.38 £2.72  £3.75
Muthmir2.38 £2.72  £3.75
Muthmir2.38 £5.00  £6.90
Muthmir2.38 £69.00  £95.22
Muthmir2.4 £107.16  £150.02
Muthmir2.4 £16.40  £22.96
Muthmir2.4 £10.86  £15.20
Muthmir2.4 £2.72  £3.80
Muthmir2.4 £2.72  £3.80
Muthmir2.4 £90.00  £126.00
Muthmir2.4 £132.78  £185.89

Is that good or bad?

What does all that mean?

This is good. It means you laid at shorter than 2.44.

He's now 2.42 to back, so we're stomping already. Around £8 on the right side, booooooooom!

But backing back now for tiddlearse amounts is the last thing on my mind. The price could go the other way in a heartbeat though.

Any excuse to post the video where Claire does her wibbly-wobbly mouth thing in tight leather trousers...

Here's an online greening up calculator for later.  Just put 500 and 2.39 in the first two boxes and then the odds available later in the next box and it will tell you how much to lay for profit

http://www.sportspreadsheet.com/Greening_Up_Calculator.html

it should look like this if you do it properly

Thanks 2xUp.

Do I use the Left hand column (Laying a back bet) or the right hand column (backing a lay bet)?

If the Right hand column, we are £10.25 in profit.

Can I close it out now?

PS - Pissing with rain here now.

EDIT - Just seen your example Edit, all good, thanks.

This is fun, £10 profit, BOOM.

£6.20 I think at 2.42?

Look, his driffing all the time! 2.44 now. Waiiiii-ting!
