While you're talking about Lauren, it looks like she's a goner tomorrow...

Think she is hanging by a thread here.  Think Andrea was pretty pot too, and ofc the 8 dullards weren't great either.

Edit.  Much better that one.  Love to see jumper boy bottom 2 again.

Sea of blue on OC for Lauren next out.

Not sure if tonight went that well for Fleur, but I guess we'll find out who Cowell wants after tomorrow.

I think Fleur did fine, she'd have to be really exceptional tonight to go shorter than she is.  Andrea definitely worst of the top 3.  First song was horrid, 2nd was just dull.  I struggle to watch him.

Of course, and Cowell was obviously covering all his bases with a big Ben ramp tonight.

NBA Saturday Update

Cavs/Dallas/Clippers all won as all 7 favs won again in the NBA tonight.

Assists bet - Rondo and Lawson didn't play.  Wall had 7 assists and Paul 10 assists.  Rondo still clear of Lawson in 2nd.

MVP -  Davies had a monster game (his team lost again to go to a losing record of 7-8) which isn't going to help his MVP chances.  He had 30 points 13 rebounds in the loss.

Rookie of the Year.  Noel had 10 points/9 rebounds. Great all round effort by Parker who had 19 points (13-14 at the ft line), 9 rebounds, 5 assists  and 2 steals.  Wiggins didn't play.

In case anyone missed me posting this earlier regarding the Raptors division bet.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11954436/toronto-raptors-demar-derozan-torn-groin-tendon

Raptors best player out injured 'indefinitely' - rumours are it is going to be between 4-6 weeks.  Not good news.  Luckily the division is so weak it shouldn't make too much difference.

Morning Mr T.

In today's rugby union I think we should back London Irish to beat Gloucester. The Irish have been competitive against the top sides this year and this is a must win game for them. Gloucester yet again seem to be a team with no heart and they will really miss Ben Morgan. I prefer the odds on Irish overcoming a -1 point deficit.

Suggest £22 on London Irish -1 @ 10/11 with Betfred.

Daily Report

Profit on Month £495.78

Outstanding Bets £4001.21

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=32

A loss of £185 yesterday with the following losers, in the order they were placed

- Viktoria Rebensburg finished 7th in the Aspen Giant Slalom -£10 (our ante post bet Mikaela Shiffrin finished 6th)

- England beat Australia 26-17 in the rugby -£15. Australia had 58% possession and gained 669 metres carrying the ball, to England's 199. They lost because they were dominated up front, as Ben Morgan scored two tries off scrum set-pieces

- Fury stopped Chisora in the final round when we were tantalisingly close to the points victory our bet needed -£30

- Druid's nephew and Rocky Creek were unplaced in the Hennessey -£110..the top three pictured below going over the line

- Jake Wood was 6 of 7 in the weekly scoring on SCD. In some ways this season SCD has jumped the shark, with producers unable to resist the urge to tinker with a simple winning formula. This week, a country by country idea that lumbered our hero with dancing an Argentinian tango to a Greek theme, and the result was as nonsensical as the idea.

Jake's posture, frame and body movement were completely off, and one trusts most sincerely that the producers will scrap this travesty of an idea for 2015. While they are at it, scrap the backing dancers too. An unneccesary accoutrement to the proceedings, as i am sure tikay will agree

ongoing positions

Football

Premier League

- West Ham rose to 5th, beating fellow top ten bet Newcastle

- The Liverpool handicap bet got a boost with a victory over top ten bet Stoke

- Crystal Palace rose to 13th with a good draw at Swansea

- Arsenal did us a favour winning at relegation bet West Brom

- The QPR/Leicester match set records for the Opta scoring statistics with 51 shots in the game. Leicester defended poorly, missed chances and were punished

- Both Rooney and Welbeck socred to help us in our respective bets on them to be league top scorer (each way) and Arsenal top scorer

Championship

- Watford lost at home to Cardiff. This was an unpleasant result as the top six are covered by just four points and Watford lie just beneath them in the chasing pack

- Fulham won at Brighton to climb to 16th, now 9 points off the top 6

- Bamford scored again for Middlesborough and he is gradually catching Leadbitter for top Middlesborough scorer

League One

- Doncaster drew and are now 5 points behind the team formerly known as exciting Peterborough in the £220 season match bet

League Two

- Newport climbed into the play off places with a 3-2 win at Carlisle. Newport are unbeaten in 8, with 5 wins in that time span and are on the heels of the top three position we need

Conference

- Dover are on a storming run and won again 2-1 at Gateshead to climb to 13th

Non League

Guernsey lost 1-0 at Whyteleafe

tonight, a big one for us in the NFL

Another elimination in the X Factor. 5 left and we have positions in 3. One of the other 2, Lauren is favourite to go tonight

http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/x-factor/next-elimination

this afternoon the Southampton relegation ship launches with a big bash from a bottle on the bow, from Aguero. Hopefully

Any views out there on the Packers Patriots game? I'm Thinking unders on the points total with both teams running the ball quite a bit and throwing a lot of check downs killing time on the clock...

Does the X Factor elimination still go to the judges tonight?

If so, do we think they'll kick out Lauren ahead of Stereo Dicks?

Lauren is 1-4 to be in the bottom two, Stereo Dicks are 1-2. Not sure I'd have them as far apart as 2-5, 9-2 for the boot. Stereo Dicks are, ultimately, awful.

Judges love the Stereo Kicks...

The comments from the judges generally bear no relevance to the performance, and it's like they're just reading off one of those call centre sheets Cheesy

Here here, Tighty. I'm convinced Sir Bruce kept these nefarious fripperies out of the show. Jumping the shark is a spot on description.

I suspect the top of the leader board market is getting less attractive now, as there's nothing really between the top five week on week and ties are very likely.

Best of luck in the four card stuff.

Pretty certain  the judges will take it to the public from now on for the bottom two. Seems to be that two of the judges gush about whatever act is on.

They have done most weeks, bar when they got rid of Stevi, and that has still resulted in the betting favourite going home.

I tried being clever when Jay James was odds on to go, and backed Stevi at 5/1. I was counting when Louis and Simon saved Jay, only to see Mel B send it to deadlock, despite the fact she spent every week moaning about him.

Don't think it is a two horse race for bottom 2.  Andrea isn't very popular any more.   And I can see simon taking stereo kicks over Andrea.  Cheryl unlikely to be off script if that is the case.  Was hoping for better than 5/1 mind, so no bet.
