On Fred?
Around 3 months ago, iirc.
You've clearly missed him.

Talking of absent friends......
One of our staunchest regulars, who has been very loyal & good for Fred is horsey, who most of us respect immensely.
Many of you know life at home has been very very difficult for John this last 18 months or 2 years, as his Mum became very unwell indeed, so he moved back home to care for her.
I was very sad to learn that horsey's Mum passed away on Friday.
John was very close to his Mum, & must be hurting terribly right now.
My thoughts & condolences to John.
Very sorry to hear this.
Condolences to John.

One thing leads to another, once we start debating Fred issues it just absorbs more time than I have available, but I need to make a point here.
At least 4 of those who no longer Post have connections to BE. (I should have mentioned Joe Beevers earlier, who has helped blonde more any almost anyone I know, knew I'd forgot a few!).
Broadly speaking, the BE boys got quite a bit of flak for various reasons, & so they don't post here any more. In their spot, neither would I, the serial sniping was not necessary or nice.
For the record, I greatly admire all the Team at BE for what they are trying to do with BE, they are trying to earn a living, & working very hard at it, so good luck to them.
When a Fred regular becomes part of BE, perhaps partly based on Fred contributions, well personally, I'm proud & pleased for them, why would anyone not be?
blonde benefits from a BE Affiliate deal, we have never made any secret of that. There is not a Forum on earth that does not have affiliate deals in place, it is not in any way improper
.
Its a fine & immensely difficult line to tread, though, running what amounts to a subscription based tipping service, & at the same time, giving freebies to Fred.
Amazing how complex things become, eh?
Just to recap Tony.
Is there any reason you continue to fight the BE cause yet seem ambivalent to the fact your own thread/forum, which has clearly been targeted by some people to feather their own interests is dying out?
Some of the guys you are referring to have targeted your forum for their benefit, taken contributors off your forum and actively spammed this thread with affiliate deals where they benefit if your clients/posters/friends lose money with certain bookmakers if they have signed up thru the affiliate links. Was that how you saw this working when it had many contributors and many pages being filled each day in the previous years?
I doubt it very much.
The guy running the thread is also not allowed to put up bets on the thread he is running because he also works for BE. You don't mention that as being a quite ridiculous state of affairs in the smoke blowing.
The regular guys that have left have probably just seen the light tbh. So we now have a punting thread that was vibrant and fun where a big % of the posters don't put bets up and don't post elsewhere anymore.
Can you tell me if any of those points are untrue or do they fall under your unfair flak description?

What NFL bets did you put up on BE this year and how many made it as tips by you on here?
I don't mean hints with links to markets, I mean bets?
I do remember you hinting at positions you had suggested on BE in your daily reports. Also remember you taking plaudits for a bet on Aaron Rodgers on here that you didn't put up on here but did suggest on BE. So you do put bets up on there now and you don't put them on here.
It isn't polemic at all, think of it as a counterbalancing list of things that have and are happening on here to the 'unfair flak' and 'nothing has changed it will all still be the same'
It has now reached the level that over 90% of the posters can give their views free of charge for the prices to get smashed up and accounts be restricted. The other sub 10% can charge the majority for their bets yet still help themselves freely to the majorities posts and recs.

i think you are going at the wrong person Phil, or attributing motivations to me that simply don't exist
several things that i put up on BE get placed on here. Probably a majority don't. there's no rhyme or reason to it
none of my stuff on BE is behind a paywall
i hint at stuff to encourage discussion, try and help the thread be busy.
as for facts, there are 160 lines on the spreadsheet currently, 18 have my name under "tipster"
over the life fo the thread 439 of my bets have been accepted, at a profit overall
yes my volume is down, but my volume is down not because of BE but because SOLELY TO KEEP THE THREAD GOING i took on placing the bets and writing the reports
as i say, you are going after the wrong person. i have nothing to answer for.

Cut the conversation guys. To read condolences inbetween bickering just makes you realise life is too short, surely you can hold off for a day or so or take it up face to face. A valued poster is going through a tough time surely we can respect that, probably won't be a great read for him when he finally catches up.
