Just looking through the football markets,

Man City are 1-2 to beat Burnley today with Bet Bright, that seems like a good price to me? Am I missing something?

I am by no means a football betting expert, so feel free to shoot me down!

Some see 1-2 or 1-6 as a good price, when you see a 1-6 as a good price (value) others are snapping your hand off to lay it, opinions Peter.

I guess that's true.

I suppose I was looking for opinions from others on if they believe 1/2 is value or not

I am sure you will have a few opinions on this.   I have seen plenty of figures on football profits over the last 3-5 years,scary.  Plenty of round the world trips for the guys in the bookmaker industry.

Not been racing over here, must be confident of a good showing,no bet for me as yet,waiting to see if any support comes close to off.  No idea if tongue tie will help,who knows what goes through a horses mind. Time will tell,you would have to think it will help.

Must resist.   Everyone has been playing nicely since Fred got back on track, but this is pretty tilting.

Is Arbboy on sabbatical?  It normally only takes him 30 seconds to put up the would you think Man City were value at 1/6 at home post.

hector's Rugby bet, which I would think 90% of the thread are on, is finely poised, 15-9 to Wales, 5 minutes into the 2nd half.

If we dare to have a bet on a horse, I think Foxbridge should be a candidate in the Midlands National at 16-1. Seems to fit most of the trends quite well, the key one being to carry 10-9 or less. Goes on the ground. Trainer has a decent record in the race, so  although this is a much tougher jumping test you would hope he knows what is required. Cadeau George 25/1 another possible, closely matched with Foxbridge and 6 yr olds have had a decent record  in recent years.
The fav, though an obvious candidate, looks too short to me at 5/2 (McCoy factor and favs have had a poor record in this race) which I think adds a little value.
£5 e/w  on both?

I know nothing if Egg chasing but can Ireland play as badly in the 2nd half?  I missed the bet, mostly by getting myself in a Cheltenham hole and what I had left for punting was invested in some Football bets. 

Also had a small e/w bet on Shotgun Paddy in the Midlands National, any love for this?  If he jumps he otta be in with as big a chance as anything, I'm encouraged that they went straight for this and never ran him at Cheltenham this time around.   Very good trainer/jockey combo, the downside is Miss Lavelle's horses don't appear to have been in great form this year.

Foxbridge beaten by about a neck for 4th after seemingly travelling around most of Staffordshire.
