Tighty - feel free to go ahead with those cricket bets.

We could use suggestions from others for the Domestic Cricket season, too.

yes, waiting to see if any other firms price up stumpy's stuff

i forget who wanted to oppose yorkshire a fortnight ago

also the IPL starts next week. just the 60 games over 5 weeks. i do have a value idea, but perhaps its best for others to put some IPL stuff up.

its on Sky this year, and obviously happens afternoons UK time so compared to the CWC its "sweatable"

bet that stands out at the moment in ipl is rahane to be top runscorer for rajastan royals. he's one i always look for for top batsman every time they play, constant opener in a order that changes a lot. watson sometimes would open, other times come in to finish at 4 or 5. smith obviously in fantastic form, but again might be shifted around the order between 3 and 5.  you'll see rahane be quite reserved, try and bat through the innings while others play around him. barring injury i'd expect him to be their top runscorer over the course of the whole ipl. only 5 bookies priced it up so far, top price 5/2, any views?

Him or Smith for sure

Rajasthan don't have the deepest batting, so its not really a field of 7 likely winners as it is with some of the teams

if the NBA play offs started tomorrow, we'd have four interests

the cavs at 7/2
the clippers at 12/1
the bulls at 8/1
the raptors at 66/1

current market at http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/nba-championship/winner

are we missing any exposure? (Spurs? warriors? hawks?)

I would be backing Spurs at 7/1 as well.  I have added them to my portfolio this week.  They are finally free from injury and playing better than anyone in the West currently.  They are legit 10 man deep and proven in the play offs over 15 years.  Getting the 2nd or 3rd seed is key to avoiding G State until the conference finals.  GS and Atlanta are plenty short enough given their total lack of play off experience both playing wise and coach wise.  OKC are also a redic short price at 25/1 given they are virtually locked in 8th seed at best (20% likely to miss the play offs completely according to espn stat guru) and going to play GS without Durant and numerous other key squad players in the first round without home court advantage.  I could also add Portland at 50/1+ given they will get a top 4 seed now they have the division locked up so will have home court in the first round gtd.

Quite new to sports betting, so don't laugh me out the place.

Is there a market for first to 1000 runs this Summer? I think with a point to prove a certain Mr Pietersen could be a leading contender.

He's voided his IPL commitments and is, allegedly, playing for free at Surrey. I don't think there is a better batsmen out there then a motivated KP with a point to prove.

I will have a look and return with ideas re: county cricket in general.

Derby v Watford tomorrow night.  This might even be a palp, but I'd throw some coins at Adlene Guedioura to score first, score anytime in the match.  He gets forward a lot in Watford's system and had 2 good chances in last game against Ipswich.

28-1 first goalscorer (way bigger than elsewhere)
11-1 anytime goalscorer (next best is 6-1)

£5 first scorer, £15 anytime if you can get on.

For anyone else without B365  6-1 on him scoring anytime is still value with Ladbrokes/BetFred is still value if you want a sweat on the live TV game.

10/1 to be leading run-scorer in Div 2 at Coral, assuming we can't take the 12-1 at Stan James for leading Div 2 run scorer. Can't seem to find a 'first to 1000' market and fear that KP's motivation may disappear if the selectors don't look his way.

I also suggest £5 on Karl Brown at 10-1 to be Lancs leading run-scorer. Been very consistent for a number of seasons and a settled part of the line-up.

we wouldn't laugh. well, probably not

never is a first to 1000 market

anyway, surrey don't have a game in the first round of LVCC matches, so he's 2 innings behind some rivals before he starts and he's had no pre-season (been at the world cup, now in dubai)

typically someone reaches 1000 in june, as the T20 starts

having seen him struggling on one knee for surrey last year, and not entirely motivated..i would question what happens by mid summer if he's up and down the motorway to Derby, Manchester back to chelmsford and canterbury with england showing no sign of picking him

so for any top run scorer bet, i can't see him as a reliable proposition. can't see him sticking it out, prefer backing county grinders

take or leave? (7-1 sky bet, 13/2 boyles, 6-1 bar)

leave at 6/1 imo.  I appreciate fred can't get on at those two gaffs.  It was more a rec for everyone who can.  they are slightly under 13/2 on bf but after commission u will be looking at 6/1.

Win only with any Western conference teams for nba and e/w for any eastern conference teams due to the 'draw' bias of the easy Eastern conference compared to the brutal west.

kp massively opposable in the surrey market. if by some miracle england pick him he can't cop, if england dont pick him he'll honour his contract in caribean premier league and not be bother by back end of the season. how long is sanga pencilled in for?

This is the languid midfielder who was at Forest?

most of the season, though he starts late.

Rory Burns is the value bet to beat both

opening bat, will play every game is fit, like a limpet at the crease, scores big hundreds

a lot of the rest of the top 6 will rotate as you have to get six of

burns, ansari, solanki, sanga, kp, davies, roy, wilson, harinath into the line up

KP surely can't win the first to 1000 runs.  If he is in the race to win it after a month he will be called up by England and drop out of the county runs race.  Looks a terrible bet logic wise surely?  Hard to see a spot where he can win it?
