Derby v Watford tomorrow night.  This might even be a palp, but I'd throw some coins at Adlene Guedioura to score first, score anytime in the match.  He gets forward a lot in Watford's system and had 2 good chances in last game against Ipswich.

28-1 first goalscorer (way bigger than elsewhere)
11-1 anytime goalscorer (next best is 6-1)

£5 first scorer, £15 anytime if you can get on.

For anyone else without B365  6-1 on him scoring anytime is still value with Ladbrokes/BetFred is still value if you want a sweat on the live TV game.

Dung

This is the languid midfielder who was at Forest?

was restricted but still useful if it comes in

That's him!  He's pretty industrious now - we have him on loan from Palace.

Afternoon Mr T's.

Tonight's rugby league has thrown up a couple of betting opportunities. I have spent the best part of a days thinking time trying to decide the best bet. Then I realised I could halve the stake and back both - what a dumbarse I can be.

First bet is to back Wakefield to beat Catalan. Home advantage and the returning Tim Smith for Wakefield should be decisive in what I expect to be a high scoring game. Everyone already knows what I think of travelling Frenchies.

The other bet is Widnes to beat Warrington. I have been perusing the Warrington forum and they are scathing of their own teams creativity. People playing out of position and it just looks wrong. Widnes have their captain Kevin Brown back to run the show and their plastic pitch is a massive help.

Suggest £10 Wakefield @ 2-1 with betfred and £10 Widnes @ 5/2 with Hills

Tighty - feel free to go ahead with those cricket bets.

We could use suggestions from others for the Domestic Cricket season, too.

James Vince top batsman. 20/1 with Stan J.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/32151277

I have been a Vince fan boy for years since I used to take Uni coursework down to the members area at the Rose Bowl and just see him crush the ball week after week.

Top run scorer last year in Div 2. If he doesn't get the England nod then struggle to see how he isn't close to the top 5 for an EW return at least. Good wicket for scoring runs on as well.

I have had a fiver each way with Stan. If anyone likes it then can get on for Fred.

very good player

would worry he'll get an england nod especially in ODIs this summer

for the bet to win, you need him to score lots of runs. if he scores lots of runs he'll get the england nod (ten test matches and over 20 ODIs before september too, so rotation is possible). if he doesn't your bet loses

sort of an asymmetric risk really

but anyway we'll have a fiver each way please. nice price, small stakes, season sweat. right up our street

Not a palp imo. 11-1 anytime ties in with 28-1 first scorer, and they're similarly ool about a few others, notably Anya and Albentosa. Worth pushing for more if someone can get you on.

if the NBA play offs started tomorrow, we'd have four interests

the cavs at 7/2
the clippers at 12/1
the bulls at 8/1
the raptors at 66/1

current market at http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/nba-championship/winner

are we missing any exposure? (Spurs? warriors? hawks?)

I would be backing Spurs at 7/1 as well.  I have added them to my portfolio this week.  They are finally free from injury and playing better than anyone in the West currently.  They are legit 10 man deep and proven in the play offs over 15 years.  Getting the 2nd or 3rd seed is key to avoiding G State until the conference finals.  GS and Atlanta are plenty short enough given their total lack of play off experience both playing wise and coach wise.  OKC are also a redic short price at 25/1 given they are virtually locked in 8th seed at best and going to play GS without Durant and numerous other key squad players in the first round without home court advantage.  I could also add Portland at 50/1+ given they will get a top 4 seed now they have the division locked up so will have home court in the first round gtd.

Spurs at 6-1

take or leave? (7-1 sky bet, 13/2 boyles, 6-1 bar)

Just a swing on things, if any of you are looking at taking the 7/1 Spurs.  4/1 to win the conference most likely the better option financially, most have the cavs nailed on to win the East  so if you think spurs are less than a 4/5 shot in the finals then 7/1 is an option.  No chance they will be so 4/1 is a no brainer over the 7/1 to win championship.

Just noticed the 4/1 has gone. Not sure of the time it changed. Still a case for 7/2 over the 7/1 as they are sure to be well above evens v Cavs. Saying all that the Cavs still have to make the finals.

Just a better option if you are wanting them onside with the other teams in your book.

in interesting news, if i download the yougov app i can be on the voting panel, says the email

Might be worth firing a tenner at Sturgeon in this.  She doesn't often lose TV debates, she will get tore into both Labour and Tories and will also go after Nigel.

Don't think she can win because Scottish, can't see rUK in panel voting for her out of some sort of spite.

Do agree that objectively she may well perform the best though. Good politician.

From what I understand she has been fairly well received down south, she will no doubt win some of the core Labour left vote and the Cameron/Farage vote will split the right.   I suppose it depends who makes up the poll because Milliband isn't too well received in Scotland.  Sturgeons popularity rating is pretty high as well.

I just thought the price was the stand out.

Weathers has been grand down here, might even have to mow the lawn tomorrow.

Have you spoken to your bosses about that two  hour show about commas I pitched to you, yet?

I see Cambridge are getting on for a stone a man heavier than The Other Place. That's usually an autobet, if you don't like thinking.

There is a rumour that the Oxford stroke has broken the 5k erg world record (the "erg" is the rowing machine - usually a Concept 2 ergonometer - just like you get in any gym) in training. That would be astonishing; these eights aren't littered with Olympians and World Champions.

Both have impressed in training, though Oxford seem to be a very organised crew. They gave Leander a length head start and still won. Does help when your stroke is breaking records! The stroke is the guy everyone can see, just in front of the Cox. He sets the rhythm of the boat. Timing is everything.

Cambridge beat the Dutch national team (the 8 is the boat the Dutch Rowing Association is actually focusing on as its main boat), having come from behind in both races. One race was actually stopped when a sailboat drifted into the middle of the river!

The extra weight might be relevant if the weather is a factor. Might be one to watch if we fancy backing the underdog. We did that before, mind and it didn't end all that well. Ahem...

half way through

Sturgeon now shorter than Miliband to win the debate...4/1 second favourite...  http://ow.ly/L8WfZ

Farage trading odds on, the HIV comment, thought he would really take a walk on betfair then, but not really

I presume he has been given some kind of media training at some point?

why is he staring at the camera? in the first half he was nearly climbing into the thing
