Betting sydicates have been backing the opposite of our NBA bet, taking Portland -4....found some twitter rumours that tony parker and tim duncan, San An's best two players by a mile, are getting the night off to rest. If that's true I don't fancy San Antonio at all, have closed out my bet with a small loss, would recommend the same. Sorry....this is the first time they've done this ffs

Prepared for others to shoot me down on this, but I like it
Napoli at 5/4 (Skybet) to beat Chelsea tonight
Napoli finished above Man C in Group A, and beat them at Home
Napoli are unbeated in 11 European matches at home since 2008, in a hostile ground
Three dangerous strikers in Cavani, Lavezi and Hamsik
Chelsea miss Terry, and of course are under pressure/pretty mixed form in all competitions
I hear the dressing room is unhappy and dislikes AVB
Longer term there is of course a big transition to make from Cech/Terry/Lampard and Drogba..and really rebuilding this team has yet to begin
I have Napoli as slightly odds-on, and like £40 at 5/4
ON
Have had £50 @ 13/10 with BoyleSports.
WINNER - well done Tighty, your T4T debut started with a nice price winner.
£50 @ 13/10 returned a total of £115.
Thank you.

Vince, the Tennis bet.
Think we had a great opportunity there, & no regrets here.
I was doing the Show, so could not work or sweat the Bet, so any chance to cut our losses when Mr Tong arrived on the scene was not possible on this occasion.
And yup, I placed it myself, with no help, on Betty - Karabiner would be well proud. I'm hoping Ralphy Boy will give us a tip shortly, in fact.
Dubai Tennis, (Mere), £50, LOST.
Keep those Tennis Tips coming, please, Mere & Solaris. In the daunted department, we are un.

It was very late (early....) when I saw this Jeff, & it was a bit late for me to try & find a way of laying it off, I need a bit more practice on Betfair first before I start clicking too many buttons @ 2am when dead tired. I would not have messed with the Unders bet though, so we are only talking a lost opportunity of maybe £30 on the other bet.
I've not seen the full details, but I gather it ended 137-93, or similar, wow, that one deffo came off the rails big time!
San Ant v Portland, LOSS £100.
Keep the Basketball tips coming, only you & Dubai have given any Basketball stuff so far, & it's fun working out all the new expressions, point guards, NBA, NCCA, different websites etc. I was clicking F5 half the night on Monday for that Dubai tip, huge fun!
Am at home, & not working, tonight & tomorrow night, the rest of the week in fact, so if there are any standout opportunities, I will have time to mess around.
Thanks.

Yellow Card for Kimber.
No "sorries" please, we take the wins & the losses in good heart, it's a fun thread, & I enjoy it more & more. If all our punts were winners, it'd not be as much fun as the addicts might think, it's that "buzz" we enjoy from the uncertainty.

Really enjoying this thread, very theraupautic.
Hope we can keep it going.
Chompers keeps suggesting we should get our betting boots on & up the Stakes to £100 a time, I'm more inclined to wear betting carpet slippers & keep to current stakes.
What do the Senior Degens think?
We gonna go with the flow.

Just to refresh, what bet/price do you have on Anderson?

£50 @ 11/8, "most 180's". In, I assume, the Premier League. Not been much of a sweat for me so far, as I don't know how often they play, what nights, when it ends, anything, but we will get up to speed in due course.

Lol!
Marv. Never mind, put it down to experience. From what I could assess, it looked a good value bet.
I'll Update the numbers on this one tomorrow, as we might have some more action later today.

Azer-whatsit is now 7/4 with BetVictor.
Seems I moved the market.
You seem to have a habit of doing that.
Azarenka could be laid at 2.32 on Betfair 10 minutes ago but back to 2.48 now.
A definite chance for you to "green out" but, since you are such a
degen
, I doubt that you'll seize the opportunity.
