Bet for Saturday:

Fulham are currently trading at 1.98-2.04 on Betfair at home to Wigan.

Try backing them for £100 at 2.0.

It's a monstrous price.

Wigan are absolutely prime candidates for a let down. They are simply not as good as their recent results suggest. They are almost safe and after 3 super human efforts are entitled to struggle to get up for this match. Fulham are super strong at home and have certainly not stopped trying for the season.

I think this is an exceptionally good bet.

Thanks Keith.

I think we had the opposite recommend from someone - Dazzy? - earlier, but you only rarely post bets on here (& you got back me in this damn betting thing!).

I can take a hint, too - "I think this is an exceptionally good bet" is as strong as it gets from you, especially on the back of the stunning Swansea jobbie.

I could "only" get 1.98, but thats the best price currenly on offer, & it could well shorten if I provaricate.

So, £100 @ 1.98 on Betfair it is.

Better get you when you are feeling decisive.

Chelsea to beat Barcelona at 5.3 on betfair.  Barcelona are always a bit overrated in my view.  Not sure they are even the best team in Spain currently.  Chelsea appear to be improving and are bound to be up for this having been "robbed" in the same competition by the same opposition a couple of years ago.  Chelsea have home advantage.

I simply think 5.3 is too big.  Don't listen to the Messi is god blah blah.

How the hell did I miss this? Indecision, probably. Maybe.

Love the posting style, say it as it is.

No messi-ng then, we are on.

£100 with Betfair @ exactly your price, 5.3.

Oooooooh, I don't like this bet. My thoughts are that Fulham will drift too.
I'd like if Adnmdv or Redarmi would price up this match for us.

Hopefully, they will concur, one way or another, so we are either very wrong, or very right.

Rather brave of me to go against you, in your current form, especially with Wigan, so I hope - sort of - your faith is rewarded.

More IPL news, Royal Challengers Bangalore needed 21 off the last over to win.
The over went 1 4 6 6 1 6.
Easy game.

After 21 games, 221 sixes have been hit in the tournament.

Stunning match, Gayle and De Villers brilliant (cack bowling from Nehra in the last over though, not a single slower ball or yorker)

Hmm, not proper cricket then, it's like bish-bash-bosh thwack it or whack it 20/20 or ODI stuff.

Those poor bowler chaps, what must they think? It all seems so unfair on them. Bring back Deadly Derek I say.

I think they look at their pay cheques and think "life ain't so bad".

I forgot to mention that Gayle hit 34 off 6 consecutive balls including 5 sucessive sixes in an over.

Don't get me wrong, prefer the longer game every day of the week, but the IPL is great entertainment and a lot of the skills being developed are wonderful, and also present in the domestic one day game too

My lads won't watch cricket for hours, but I went there today and they were both glued to the IPL after school.

if it introduces youngsters to the sport (which generally has an ageing supporter base) then its good

In my excitement, I forgot to add the reason why I posted the cricket scores.

Essentially, the swings in IPL matches are so extreme that it can be very profitable to bet the underdog and "green out" when they go favourite.
It is very rare that one team has an edge for the duration of the match. This is generally due to the performance of one or two individuals in a match. With so many star players in every match, each side is likely to have a player who changes the state of the game dramatically.
Not really a "Tips For Tikay" post, but something to note for generic punters, I guess.

It's already gone into 89/100 on Betfair so well done on that. I don't care. The market is wrong. Camel is wrong. You're all wrong. Wigan would beat Barca tomorrow imo. I'm riding the Wigan train. So I'm laying Fulham to Camel for more than I should.

It's the bout of the century...

In the blue corner, undisputed outsider championer of the world ... TheDazzler.

In the red corner, thread starter and heavily trusted tipster of this parish ... The Camel.

Good luck gentlemen.

No biting, no scratching, no hitting below the belt, OK?
