Ramdin got 1.

Close to being top scorer.

You can't eat value.

It happens Rich, it happens. The 3-0 is looking better, anyway, & that's yours. Too.

I'm sure I saw someone possibly treefella posting a new topic in Betting tips and sports earlier, but nothing ever materialised. What was it?? I always get excited.

No idea Milly. Nothing has been removed or deleted by the Mods. I expect he changed his mind.

Leicester have offered Heskey a One Year Deal

This is from inside the club

3/1 is good, assuming he accepts.

http://www.skybet.com/football/specials/transfer-specials

Thanks Rich.

As a matter of good practice, I've decided it's probably not good form for me to bet with Sky Bet, (& as pointed out  long time ago by someone) & probably never was. They are, after all, my Employer, (Or SB&G are, same thing), & I do need to keep my nose squeaky clean, in this, & all related matters.

So that's SkyBet off my list, & Bet365 "restricted".

Good luck with the Heskey thing, looks a proper steal!

9/4 on Sky anyway

9/4 is an amazing price if he has been offered a deal.  I would say with an offer he is 4/6 maximum.

Tikay - agree with what you say re betting with Skybet.  You still okay us discussing Skybet prices on this thread for info as they do offer some good value sometimes if you can get on?

Yes, it was poor thinking on my part not to have thought it through properly. Stubborn-ness & pigheaded-ness is my friend, Mere does not have a monopoly.

I am 100% fine though with SkyBet mentions & recommends in the thread, the more the merrier in some ways. Wink

I could come up with quite an interesting (& innocent) theory on that actually, but conjecture on it would be a shade naughty. He is not the only member of his family who Posts on blonde.

Hard to see why Chanderpaul is still 5/2 for top 1st innings Windies scores. He was top in 1st and 2nd innings at Lords scored 46% of the teams runs in the previous series v Aus, is #1 batsmen in the world and is selfish to boot.

Sandy

I really struggled to dismiss this one Sandy, especially with your record, I think it was arguably the bet of the bunch, but so many have argued that the price is too thin.

Hope you had a nice bet, & you collect.

Really difficult decision, this one.

It's your money and totally up to you how you spend it.

Some you win and some you don't. I still don't think it's a bad bet despite the criticism and Samuels on the Brink.

As long as people don't aftertime then opinions either way are all valid, even when they are wrong Wink

It reminds me of Tiger Woods breaking through in golf. The prices were unheard of in golf betting before him and after a while the prices became acceptable.

Sandy

Very interesting one I have here - well I could do with some help finding out clarifications on the rules.

$10k Heads-up at WSOP 2012 - Event 5.

Bodog/Bovada are running a book on the number of entrants - and they have set the OVER/UNDER at 256.5.

I recommend a bet on the UNDER @ 10/11.

This is solely based on one thing - it's a HU tourney and I'm pretty sure, but can't confirm yet, that the WSOP do not allow byes, meaning that this event will either get 256 runners, or 512 runners, which is the cap. Basically, if I'm right on the lack of byes, the event has to hit its cap for us to lose, and last year the $10k 6-max (no $10k HU last year) didn't get 512 and the kidz LOVE 6-max.
