The total in this game opened 202. It moved quickly to 202.5 and 203 as a couple of prominent betting syndicates played over. This was done purely as a way to se themselves up for a value under bet. After it reached 204 the money came for under and Pinnacle are now using 201.5 with under a small favourite. The Greek are also 201.5.

In this game 80% of the bets are for over which is definitely the side of the public, but the syndicates love under.

I know who I want to be with.

While people are discussing the OKC Spurs game, can I just say I absolutely love Kevin Durant. In a sport where almost everyone seems to have an ego the size of the sun, this guy is better than anyone and seems to just love playing the game. If Westbrook bothered to pass to him most games like he did in game 4, theThunder would be unstoppable

Durant is awesome, very michael jordan like the way he won them game 4. Westbrook might have cracked it, shooting far less. I fancy the Spurs tonight, no betting tho, too close to call for me, following the pro sydicates never a bad idea tho. Looking forward to watching a great game

Apparently these refs are very good for backers of the under.

If Teekay was ever awake at this time I would put up a max bet under 202.5 at 10/11 on Betfair.

If you play that way you are undoubtedly matching with genuine recreational punters who are just watching something and fancying a punt on it.

That is one of the ways you can win on NBA.

Footnote.

To those not aware, the folks really sticking it in Dean's eye - pizzled, nirvana, Chompy, celtic, & Simon Galloway, are all, along with me, mates of sicilian, & we all crush the game at Luton. A rare chance to stick it in his eye, see?

And if nothing else, we have this time learned something about the mechanics of NBA Betting, a question I & others have raised on the thread a dozen or more times, because we just cannot EVER trade out of our NBA losses like this..

Let's move on, thanks to red, Neil, Jaffa & co, for the explanations.

I hope Dean will de-strop himself & be back here soon, but we ain't gonna be blindly backing NBA hunches, it's my money, the threads's money, lots of folks follow the tips, & we just become (bigger) mug punters if we carry on like this. Ain't gonna happen.

Now Dean, get your stroppy arse back here & contribute to the debate. You did after all start it......

PS - here is our hero, at Gatwick Airport last year, doing what he does best......

...and just so that Dean has chance of revenge, here's a photo taken in Vegas last year.

Dean far left (puffing chest out), pizzled with man-bag, & far right, as viewed, the fine physique of celtic.

Not sure who the twat in the Peterborough football shirt is.

I was well away in the land of Nod by the time you posted that, Neil. Luckily, as it happens.

PS - Many congrats on the result by young Jamie Burland. Delighted for him, really please. £27,000, mmmmm.....

Here's your man, suitably badged up. (Go on, admit it, quality rub that?)
