i really like the look of a treble in the darts tonight, gary anderson 4/9 , dave chisnall 1/3 , and wes newton 2/7 all look good for a tasty treble which pays around 6/4 !!! good luck if backing !!!!
May as well post this here to.
Don't like the Anderson bet, I have been deliberating over the past 2 weeks whether to stick up Winstanley @7/4 but his form over the past month is just a touch out.
I have the feeling all is not right with Anderson's Eye injury and their must be a good chance he's just here for the 5k appearance fee.
If the Money had came for Deano then i'd be more confident as Andeson has been known in the past to throw in a few iffy games.
Andersons last 15 Tv appearances this year has seen him throw 32 180's in 179 legs= 1 every 5.59legs
The above is without the recent problems he had with his Left Eye which he says he uses to focus on the board as the other is covered by the Flight.
Obviously when Anderons at full flow he's one of if not the best scorer in the game but too many if and buts for me tonight and Winstanley most 180's @11/8 and to win the Match @7/4 look far better bets.
Winstanley usually hits loads of big scores but has trouble with his finishing and counting.
In his last 2 Matches on the Big stage he hit 7 180's in 20 legs=1 every 2.85
He lost both these matches.
He had a similar amount of 180's on his run to the Final of the BDO finall in 2011.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newton has lost his last 4 Matches and before last year he hadn't won a Match at his local Tournament in 6 years.
Hubbard is probably the best Youth Player in the PDC and has showed he can play on the Main stage, all the pressure will be on Newton
I think Deano is just about value tonight. Anderson has shown no consistency for over a year now. Add in the eye problem and his poor record in the Matchplay and I'm happy to take him on.

and its a glorious ground
and here's a lovely sit on at Taunton school
Tighty nailed it with that ride-on Mower photo. Irresistible.
I'm on.
Just thought i would add an uninteresting fact......... I helped re-slate the main building in the back ground. 12"x24" Welsh slate on the front (whatever we could find to go on the back)
Dave!
Welsh slates, the absolute nut roof imo, beautiful, effective, lasts for ever. Do they still use "slate nails"?
Did you enjoy The Open?

Yes they were nailed on which is wrong in my opinion, they should be hooked.
Watched the whole of the last day of The Open, pleased for Ernie but I wouldn't want anyone to feel like Adam Scott did on Monday morning.

Agreed. Slate nails should be illegal, & they always end up going rusty, & failing.
Adam Scott? I really felt for him. That would have been life changing, & he knew it, & it just slipped from his grasp, & there was not a damn thing he could do to stop it. What a thing.

Winstanley opened with a 180 with his first 3 Darts then I can safely say it's the worst session of Darts I have seen from him.
Anderson 5-0 with an 85 average says it all.
1-1 in 180s

9/2 Winstanley at 6-4 down looks fair to me

I back Winstanley at 2.74 at the start of the match and felt pleased with myself til I saw this! Teach me not to watch!

I'm glad no-one told you that he was 20/1 at one point, then.
That would have been most cruel.

Cricket.
The West Indies v New Zealand test series starts tomorrow.
Kemar Roach is fit again and is 10/3 to be best WI bowler in the first test.
The betting seems to have been skewed by the short price for Narine.
Remember that this market relates to the first innings only.

Is there some needle between Chisnall and Baxter?
Long time since I saw absolutely zero words exchanged by players on stage.
