9/2 Winstanley at 6-4 down looks fair to me

Nice tip!

I back Winstanley at 2.74 at the start of the match and felt pleased with myself til I saw this! Teach me not to watch!

I'm glad no-one told you that he was 20/1 at one point, then.
That would have been most cruel.

LOL I used to like you, Mere!

Could be a right ex-BDO humdinger in the next round if Chisnall wins.

Camel, I think Baxter always seems pretty quiet on stage, apart from the odd smile. There should be more fights on stage. Would be reminiscent of 70s wrestling with some of them.

You mean like this? (not sure what the dancing at the start is)

That is brilliant, Camel.

My mom and dad once approached the late jockey Wilson (in a pub, astonishingly) back in the late 70s for an autograph. He told them to Foxtrot Oscar and got back to the important business of clogging his arteries.

I remember that Laz v Jocky match really clearly even though I must not have been much older than 10.

After being 6-2 down and trading at 430/1 on Betfair for most 180s Winstanley was 9-8 up in the final leg only for Anderson to notch one and keep my consitent bad luck run on here.

Terry Jenkins @ 9/4 v Barney seems a bit on the large side to me.  Similar averages in the 1st round however Jenkins did it under pressure whereas Barney cruised through. Pressure is something Barney doesn't deal with too well nowadays.

Not sure. Barney's one of the form horses going into this tournament. In fact, he's the majority pick for the title amongst the sky pundits.

What's Jenkins's record against Barney like? Seem to remember him beating Barney in the premier league (think 2007) semis.

Mere on the Antigua test match

Look at the warm up game a week ago at the same ground

http://www.dailycricketvideos.com/wicb-pres-xi-vs-n-zealanders-at-north-sound-scorecard-20-7-2012/

11 of the 20 wickets fell to spin. Roach took 4 up top, proving his fitness

After yesterday's T20 pyrotechnics, with boundaries galore and a 37 ball hundred

Today Yorks v Worcs, Notts v Hants

Yorks are strong favourites to beat Worcs at Headingley. I couldn't see a bet here. Think Yorks should win, and don't see Worcs having power batting for a sixes/boundaries bet

Notts are marginal favourites to beat Hants at Trent Bridge

Notts, like Somerset and Sussex, are also a very powerful batting line up

Hales, Wessels, Lumb, Patel, Taylor, Voges and Read. Tasty.

Hampshire?

Vince, Adams, Katich, McKenzie, Ervine and our old friend Maxwell. Tasty

Boundaries is priced at 5/6 around 35.5, price reflecting that TB is a ground with normal dimensions compared to Taunton yesterday

Overs, please.

10 days ago the teams played a CB40 at TB. nearly 50 boundaries http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/hi/english/static/cricket/statistics/scorecards/2012/07/o34316/html/scorecard.stm

Importantly, before the weather turned. This was televised, and it was overcast

In the last T20 match at Trent Bridge Admittedly against Leics, one of the weaker attacks

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/hi/english/static/cricket/statistics/scorecards/2012/07/o34459/html/scorecard.stm

323 runs in the game, Notts scored 196 and 23 boundaries. Leicestershire only scored 127 chasing. Razzaq 11 of the 15 boundaries

The Trent Bridge Yorkshire game saw a low number of boundaries, 30, on a worn pitch

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/hi/english/static/cricket/statistics/scorecards/2012/07/o34443/html/scorecard.stm

The Trent Bridge Durham game saw 210 up top, and smashing today's boundaries quote

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/hi/english/static/cricket/statistics/scorecards/2012/06/o34428/html/scorecard.stm

All other Trent Bridge matches were rain affected, though the Lancs game saw 30 boundaries in 24 completed overs

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/hi/english/static/cricket/statistics/scorecards/2012/07/o34440/html/scorecard.stm

In Hampshires's T20 Group games that were not rain affected, or chasing totals under 100 they scored 22,19,17,20,17 boundaries

I think most of the above, and the batting firepower both offer, makes 35.5 a sporting quote.

Great analysis.....and also neither team have great strength in the bowling department.

I'm on and also a little dabble on the sixes :  over 8.5 is 5/6.

Last week when they played each other, it had a shortish boundary on one side, so hoping for similar today to help matters.

What's Jenkins's record against Barney like? Seem to remember him beating Barney in the premier league (think 2007) semis.

H2H is 11-7 to Barney with 3 draws. H2H in knockout matches on stage is 3-1 to Jenkins. Very few recent matches between them though apart from PL matches. They played in the quarters of the Matchplay back in 2009. Jenkins won 16-12.

I'm not convinced about Barney at all under pressure these days and didn't expect to see him shorter than 4/6.
