Good to see the Olympic spirit in such strong health in the football as a Honduran gets a Moroccan sent off.

I'm tempted with Winstanley for the match @ 10/11

Letdown spot?
Letdown spot for which mate?, they both won as reasonable dogs in the 1st round, Wisntanley was like 2.8 vs Anderson in an epic and Baxter like 3.3 vs Chizzy.

I thought I read that they were rehearsing everything apart from the flame lighting at these warm-ups? My mate was there last night, he hasn't mentioned the flame lighting and what happened. Dno why he and others getting so excited about an opening ceremony, doubt I've ever watched more than 5 mins of one in 30 yrs of watching major sporting events

Highlights on red button now, or so I am told

I'll be looking at the overs in their future matches.
Over his head anyway - he's no bigger than me!

bodog offer:
Place a bet on any athletics outright markets (track & field) at the Olympics and if a British athlete wins gold in that event, we refund any losing bet up to £25.
Recommend £25 on Tatyana Chernova in the heptathlon @ 15/8.
They seem to have adjusted their price to allow for the offer but it still seems good to me.
Nice one
Chernova and Ennis presumed to be a two horse race, yes?
So its a shot to nothing.
Thoughts on the same deal for:
5000M Gebremeskel 9/4
http://www.oddschecker.com/olympics/athletics/mens/5000m/winner
10000M Kenenisa Bekele 3/1
http://www.oddschecker.com/olympics/athletics/mens/10000m/winner
The odds seem to make these two events two-horse races too but I've no idea if that is reasonable.

I'm a huge fan of Isiah Koech for the 5000m but the 13/2 with bodog when 10s in places doesn't make much appeal.

I really like Marco Fabian, the Mexican striker, in today's game v
North
South Korea. He's scored 13 in 12 at this level, the Mexico team has been put together for this tournament and played together a long time, and Gio Dos Santos of Spurs has been left on the bench, which means Fabian will be the main man for Mexico, who are decent outsiders for this tournament. 13/2 with 365, a cheeky 20 quid could get us out of it, if we're in it yet

Less clear cut for the 5 and 10 thousand imo
For one, you have Lagat/Koech in the 5
For two, plenty of precedent for underexposed runners from African nations who come out of nowhere in terms of improved form and expectation

3. Races are more tactical with less setting of pace than a normal meet.

Over 10.5 180's with Laddies V Gerwen/Wade tomorrow night is a rick at 5/6, all other bookies are over 11.5 and around 8/11.
This is first to 16 legs so should see 11 180's in 25 legs.
Be quick, this price will be gone.

Need to attend an urgent appointment, will be offline for several hours, but I have dealt with that, details later.
Thanks!
