Hi peejay,
Don't see you often in here - visit us more often! We do smile, & happy, & things.
I'm afraid I have been absent all afternoon, offline, so I never picked up that recommend.
For you, & anyone who did it, I hope it won. I don't even know how to check it out, to see if it won, either. I'm so shite.
thx for that Tikay, we have met at DTD, spoke after a tourney when a guy was going allin blind every hand and you were a victim!!
anyway the last race was a novice chase, always give distance backers a chance, faller at the last fence meant 48 lengths and a winning bet!
Ooh, well done, a winner on your first Fred Bet, & we never backed it! Sorry mate, I've been absent all afternoon.
I remember meeting you, yes, & I also recall Mr All-In Blind Every Hand man.....
First or second level on Day Two, I had
& he had
and the board ran out 4 hearts.
I then went home, a 150 mile drive, & Mr All-In Every Hand promptly walked out too, there & then, never to be seen again! Has to be said, poker is a great game, anything can happen.
PS - Yup, 50p duly deposited in the tin.

The Mens coxless fours rowing final is on Saturday and GB won their semi to reach the final as top seeds. Australia coasted in a full second behind them but that doesn't tell the whole story. On Monday Australia set an Olympic record to qualify for the Semi's and none other than Sir Steve Redgrave dismissed their Semi final row as "just a warm up". He also added that they were very evenly matched. GB start as odds on favourites whilst Billy Hill go an outstanding 6/4 for Australia.
The last time these two teams met in the World Cup in Germany, Australia won the Semi's and Final against the same four guys.
I'm on for an un-patriotic £50 on the Aussies.

Being so closely matched...
Doesn't the bet win or lose as much on the draw/prevailing wind as anything else?
When is the draw done, or has it been done?

Thanks Rubbish. (Could you perhaps change your alias to "Darling"?)
1) We need to bear Tighty's subsequent questions in mind.
2) redarmi said a day or two ago that the GB players/teams/whatever are almost all overpriced, and as a result, in situations like this, Australia are almost certainly good value. So we are deffo interested, & for betting purposes, we don't do patrioism. Anyway, we own Australia.
Lets see what feedback we get.

The only thing I've seen shows Aus in 2 and GB in 4 but I'm not 100% that is correct. These two teams are at least a couple of seconds quicker than the other four teams in the final so come a certain point in the race they will both be a length up on other boats. Can't be of more help sorry, maybe someone else can?

I only ask because the wind for today's events smacked anyone drawn in 1 or 2, conferred a huge advantage on teams in 4-6
Might be completely different, Saturday, of course.......

And there is the problem......
Huge up to Sandy (Henrik) by the way, who spotted this windd/draw bias very early, as I recall.

And were the teams in lane 2 today 7 seconds quicker than the team in lane 3?

No idea Sir, but remember (as I understand it) there is a possibility that their Lane Draws MIGHT yet change.

Also GB Men are 1.1 to win Gold in the team Cycling pursuit. Not saying they wont win but do they really win this 9 times out of 10?
Any thoughts anyone?

If we get round, we will very likely win but how can 1-10 be worth betting? Can only assume that's the point!

I was on about laying them, £10 to win £100 if they lose.

Lol I did get that
Is it just one market that has them that short (ie taken a big bet) or is it the market mean?

There's £100 up at 1.08 which is mine if you want it!
