Oh dear.

Just read this tweet:

@madmartywilson

I cant see the Liverpool & Arsenal game being high scoring.Bet of the day must be goals under 2.5

I am sure Mad Marty is a fine judge.

I love the fella, & his long-suffering better half, but I gotta RAISE.

I knew it was a mug bet!

Just seems too obvious.

We are not on yet, I still need guidance as to Bet Size.

11/10 on the machine now.

I've gone in again.

Surely Arsenal are a bet today at 7/2. I'm not quite sure why the syndicates love Liverpool so much, however the 7/2 has to be too big.  They have played well in both games so far - yes they can't buy a goal but Giroud and Podolski are two games in and will improve. Two clean sheets; I think getting on Arsenals side will reap rewards and today may be best opportunity as syndicates love Liverpool. For me it's a bet at 7/2. Going in.

Webber podium finish 8/1 I like.

A good racing head on his shoulders, plays the long game. Looks value to me.

Robin Van Persie is 23/20 to score at anytime today wtih VC. I think he should be odds on and is with the majority of bookies. No Rooney so he will be the main striker and I imagine he'll be on penalties too. Might be worth an interest.
Sorry not been keeping up with the thread as much (it moves so fast!) so not sure where we are in terms of bet sizing.
I guess we'll only be on if others agree so I'll leave it to them to suggest stakes.

This looks like free money... On!

"One of these days in your travels, a guy is going to show you a brand-new deck of cards on which the seal is not yet broken. Then this guy is going to offer to bet you that he can make the jack of spades jump out of this brand-new deck of cards and squirt cider in your ear. But, son, do not accept this bet, because as sure as you stand there, you're going to wind up with an ear full of cider"

Sky Masterson would probably have avoided Arsenal and the unders today i guess.....

I took evs the under 2.5 in the Arsenal/Liverpool game yesterday. I am also under 1.5 and have laid Liverpool. There seem to be a fair amount of Liverpool money around. Would anyone know if that is Bloom related?

nice to see someone else has laid liverpool. as you say its a worry if we are taking tony bloom on but at 1.98 it had to be done.

I can't say not to bet it.  I am on both Arsenal +1/2 and under 2.5 and have gone in twice on both.  Everyone that has popped up on my msn or skype this mornign are asking me why Liverpool aren't 5/4 shots and unders favourite......yet the market keeps moving the other way.  It could be either a very good syndicate or the public.  The syndicates are wrong sometimes even Tony Bloom and if you spend your whole life trying to second guess them you will never have a bet.  Meh - bet it....everyone else has/  We can all swap stories in the soup kitchens!!!

I just chatted with Neil Channing, who is currently busy plying his trade on the streets of North West London.

His F1 bet is, or was, Kamui Kobayashi, who is generally available @ 14/1.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motor-sport/formula-one/belgian-grand-prix/winner

He also said (to Post here) that Liverpool can currently be backed @ 5/4 in Wm Hill LBO's. (£100 Max).

I'm a little sidetracked by some other (non betting/blonde) matters right now, and not in a position to place bets for an hour or two, so for Fred, it's as you were, but at least you have the same info as me now, if you wish to indulge.

Kobayashi is much better EW than win only fwiw.

Whoops, yes, I forgot to add that Neil stressed that the EW part of the bet was key to it's attraction, sorry. Quarter, 1,2,3.

Just seen this goal.

Feel like I've had money taken from my pocket.

Ridiculous goal line clearance.

almost identical to the "goal" that was never given on the scottish goalscorer plunge we had
