Keith - would you rather Fred did the Blackpool lay?

I don't mind swapping it round, I'd just take the Win bet off-thread for myself.

Your decision.

Stick with it.

at lords...boundaries in and a short one imho...going to go overs in ...it's 5.5  I think

Views anyone?

This is the Hampshire - Warcs game, starts 11.30.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/domestic/cb40-league/hampshire-v-warwickshire/total-6s

no view to put you off

As the stats I showed yesterday, Hants average 4 per game, Warwicks 2 per game over 22 total games this season

So 6 looks a reasonable pivot price

If the boundaries are short (I haven't seen) then that might tempt you to look higher.

why is speroni still only playing at this level?

My favourite player of all time I think. Dundee hero!
+1
I've never been to a footballers testimonial, bit of a waste of time IMO, but will definately make the effort for Jules. Absolute legend.
Did you know there is a restaurant in Selhurst Park named after him.

I know the Palace fans abso love him too. Got a soft spot for Palace, purely as he plays for them.

Funny when he first moved, he made a number of high-profile errors and got booted out the team for Gabor Kiraly and his funky grey trouser things.

i loved those jim jams he wears

Think this warrants a small interest - decision needed by 11am though.

Chap from Boyles (the betting site; not Susan) on Sky Sports News this morning.

He said they're offering a market on the Ferdinand-Terry handshake.

With the FA still investigating, with them having not shaken hands before (thereby rendering it acceptable) and with the issue intensifying with Ferdinand the elder being charged over the "Choc ice" comment about Ashley Cole, I cannot see Anton Ferdinand offering his hand.

Boyleman said 7/2 to shake Terry's hand, so I'd be advocating a lay. £35 for a tenner looks like a ripper to me. Nittius maximus.

Thoughts?

Both sides know they have to score big as each will fancy chasing whatever is set.

Can offer no stats except I think two teams in form, attacking bowlers and trotty not there to nurdle. Value town.

One to add to the list of amusingly named golfers, well it tickled me anyhow.

Ms. Yuki Ichinose.

Stan James are (were?) way out of line @ 11/10 for this, (over 5.5) with everyone else odds-on, but they seem to have removed the Market, though it is reported as "error" at present.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/domestic/cb40-league/hampshire-v-warwickshire/total-6s

Anyway, I decided to go the nitty route & had £30 @ 4/6 with William Hill for over 4.5.

15 Sep 12 / 11:03  Single 1   Hampshire v Warwickshire  –  Total Match Sixes Over @ 4/6 – £30.00 O/0457483/0000076/F

Welll if they are, they are hiding it on their site - I can't see it.

Might just be an excuse to get on TV & do a bit of PR.

The whole "will they -- won't they?" thing in the Media is a shade irksome. It's top item on every sports bulletin on the TV & wireless, & they don't even mention the actual game. Pfft.

Even if it was on their site, you couldn't lay at the price the bookmaker is offering.  The book would probably be something like 1/8, 7/2 on something this niche?

Should we be topping the Main Sequence bet up to make it a max bet now it is 10/1 for the win and 2/1 for a place with VC. I respect Neil a lot but as a bet at 8/1 when it was much bigger on BF and in a race that the bookmaking community were going to be super competitive in seemed strange timing.

If it's a bet worth 50 ew at 8/1 and 2/1 the place then it must be worth making it a max at 10/1 and 2/1 the place now.
