"I mentioned earlier in the thread Malinga top Sri Lankan bowler at 15/8 which I think is a fantastic price"
Definitely agree with this. He often gets flurries of wickets when he's bowling the death overs. Great price imo.

I think Tony Martin should be 1/4 for the world champs time trial.
Only Contador who has anything near the ammo to get close, Martin is lightly raced and in good form. Contador has the vuelta in his legs although thats not a major concern to be fair.
If they all get round safely Martin will win

Weather forecast is for dry so accidents should be rare. Re Martin, he also rode the Vuelta, with an average ITT. If he has the form of 2011 I'd agree. Interestingly, Contador chose not to ride the Team Time Trial & in the road race has said he will ride as a domestique for Rodriguez & Valverde. My conclusion he really wants the ITT. Having said that, a report today on Cycling News confirms Contador backing Martin as favourite. Interesting http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/contador-recons-worlds-time-trial-course

Meh. Real's main aim for the season will be trying to win the Champions League. They will be super fired up after a moderate start to La Liga. City were dreadful away from home last season in the group stages and Mancini seems to revert to stereotypical Italian coach mentality for these games. A point and 0-0 is more than enough. City were woefully unadventurous. 5/1 seems big, but I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

IMO they only play for the win for 60-70 minutes after which they are fairly happy to settle for a draw and if they go a goal up they go into preservation mode. I just can't see them winning by 2+ goals very often at all and a draw is a very good result for them here.

on the p'boro bet if bristol city to score 4 goals is to big a price then surely 7-4 for them to win the game is similar?
(i dont have view havent seen either side yet this season)
....and around 10/11 draw no bet, is a good nitty punt?
