Stan James appear to be a bit out of line with Celtic at home to Benfica @ 31/10 everywhere else between 5/2 and 11/4.
Benfica sold 2 of their best players in the summer, Javi Garcia to City and Witzel went to Russia. Their captain Luisao has been confirmed out suspended for pushing a ref, they have only played 3 competitive games so far this season the last being a fortnight ago.
Celtic will miss Samaras and Ledley and league form has been very poor however we have won all 4 CL qualifying games albeit against weaker teams than Benfica.
I'll admit I haven't watched Benfica since they lost to Chelsea in the CL quarters last season when they looked very decent but over 3/1 feels too big, only Barcelona (twice) have ever won at Celtic Park in the CL in 20 games played. That stat may look irrelevant for tomorrow but it emphasises how Celtic have been able to use home advantage against better teams.
Could be worth a mini banzai £20.
And why not? Let us see if we can catch Celtic right. I imagine the atmo will be glorious.
Thanks.
We have £20, Celtic to beat Benfica tomorrow night, Champions League.

Phew, all done?
Thats us up to date now, I think.
Good luck everyone tonight.
I'm off to cook my dinner. Tonight is it my speciality -
concoction.
2 chicken breasts, two poached eggs, tinned toms, & fresh mushrooms. Under 600 cals, can't whack it.

Which are your favourite tinned tomatoes?
I think you should treat yourself to some Cirio "filete di pomelo" since they seem to be a staple.

"VERY confused by all those Mendisises, but overall, this was a bad start for us, yes?
Are we sure they are not all the same bloke?"
There are 2 of them I think Mr Tikay, but a bad start for our Malinga bet for sure.
Kohli bats tomorrow so we could really do with India batting first so he can hopefully set a marker down. I suspect both teams will elect for India to bat first, as minnows hate being 20/4 and the game being over in a flash.

Mendis bowling like a demon for Sri Lanka.
Any bets on Real v City to sweat?
Good news about Mendis, thanks.
City away to Madrid? Not got to that yet.
Plenners thinks City are MASSIVE @ that price. (Looks good to me too).
However, TAFKASYAAP (The Artist Formerly Known As Sir You Are A Prick) & now as TAFKAYAAP would not touch 5/1 Man City with a bargepole apparently, for which there has been general concurness.
Several suggestions of Man City Evens @ +1, or 10/11 DNB are currently exercising & exciting me in equal parts.
Basically, I'm confused & undecided at present. IF we do anything, it will be one of the alternative suggestions - +1, or DNB.
Can lay Real Madrid at 1.58 on betfair. We do a win if it is a draw or Man City win.
How much would you suggest, Doobs? Spell it out for me please. S L O W L Y.
That does look a better route. Don't want to risk more than around £40 or £50 though.
Sorry, putting kids to bed and missed the start.

Did not see who got man of the match J Mendis knocked 43 n.o. And took 3 wickets and A Mendis bowled a new record 6 for 8 which included 2 maidens and a bowl at a hat trick. Not bad from a maximum allowed 4 overs.

Bristol City bet coming along nicely. Just the 4 more goals required in the second half.

would have been a massive price for that to be 0-0 even at halftime

Lol, God bless chomps.
Luckily, we bottled the 4 goal thing, but we still need them to win.
