You are well on your way to degeneracy, can't watch sport without a bet on it. Still it is better than watching X factor or SCD. I have treated myself to my first glass of wine for 2 months, some poker and a Tighty update.

I am afraid you may well be right. I blame Camel.

The Overs are home now, 28-18.

Does that mean that George Vancouver won? In his recent form I had felt obliged to follow Mr Horseplayers tip. And Harlequins have just taken the score over 43 points too ! A truly golden 5 minutes.

Correct. George Vancouver obliged with consummate ease.

thanks all

some thoughts for rest of evening

a. it looks very very hard

8.14 dirt mile

RAIL TRIP isnt good enough to win this so why have i backed him Smiley Basically there is an absolute shedload of pace on here and this one will be staying on late they will have to go mad but if they do 12-1 will look big (http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/santa-anita/20:14)

8.57 turf sprint

wow tough tough race i want something from left field CAMP VICTORY has some good form over further and is related to a good sprinter the fact he came runner up to wise dan this season says its good enough just hope it can get there 14-1 (http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/santa-anita/20:57)

11.40 the mile

i really like WISE DAN here but the price isnt as exciting now, however he has home turf ideal ground and will get first run on the excellent favourite from there its each of two to me so 5-2 is still just big enough

suggest £ 5 win the top two £10 wise dan and a £3 trixie the above three total stake £32.

great stuff Horsey.

We should prob throw a couple of darts at the first td scorer in the Giants v Pittsburgh game 2morrow. Pitts are having to play revolving running backs almost every week due to injuries and the guy that started last week Jonothan Dwyer is almost certainly out this week. Mendenhall who is prob the first choice if fully fit is also highly likely to miss which leaves Isaac Redman as the starting rb tomorrow. He actually started the season as the main rb with Mendenhall injured.

The firms have Dwyer in as the shortest priced Pitts player to score the first td but Redman can be backed at 14/1 (12/1 is still ok)

I suggest £20 at 14/1

As a saver we should also throw a tenner on Baron Batch at 33/1 as he will probably be the number 2 rb 2morrow. It looks like a couple of firms have realised what is going on and Sky have taken the knife to the prices so we should get on now.

cheers

...and that is exactly what we shall do.

Even if they all fail, you've given us 3 tips this weekend up to now, with 2 winners (14/1, & 8/1), so £32 won't harm us.

Pardon my ignorance, as it is some years (decades actually....) since I ever done those things, but I'm assuming a Trixie is still 3 x dubs & 1 x treb?

Thanks Tal.

PS - Can I assume Spurs eventually thrashed lowly, hopeless, helpless & hapless Wigan, especially as it was at WHL? (Karabiner bides his time with these matters, all the more to relish).

Karabiner will have to wait for his own team to win first.

A friend who was at the game said it was the most inept performance he's ever seen. Taking off Defoe when we needed a goal is like taking off Errol Flynn an hour into the film.

The bet was £20 on Redman at 14/1, did you put the wrong name in your post?

If you backed the wrong guy (Dwyer) you will get your cash back as he is highly likely to be inactive.
