Newcastle is 11-2 to beat Liverpool today, according to the exchanges.
Liverpool meanwhile attract 1.6, which looks crazy bonkers to me.
I'm sure it will have been priced using algorithms I can't even imagine and by people who understand the sport better than I will ever, but would someone enlighten me a little as to why there is such disparity in the prices?

I'm a liverpool fan but do fancy the magpies' chances today. Prices in no way reflect recent form and think the historical stats have been taken into account a bit too much today. This one is a bit scary though:
Liverpool have won 15 and lost none of the last 17 league games at Anfield v Newcastle
edit: BA being out wont help but still.

Liverpool have won 2 games this season in the league yet are 1.6 to beat a decent top half side.
Can't get my head around it.

Daily Report as at 1115, Sunday November 4th
We recorded a profit of £143 yesterday.
Bit of a run going on here, that's 3 from 3 in November, after such a miserable end to October. Swings & swongs.
Two bets won yesterday, both owned by horsey.
George Vancouver, given a peach of a ride by Ryan Moore, gave us a £160 profit, & Wise Dan followed that up for £25. What a Breeders Cup horsey has given us, three winners, including 14/1 & 8/1!
Delighted for horsey, & thats how Fred seems to work, when some of us are yinging, others are yanging, we have a great team of advisers here.
We had a few fun Banzais, too, nothing big, but why not?
There was plenty of football action, but hard to find any value, so I was prety pleased that we held our discipline & did not go looking for iffy stuff. The Bookies had an amazingly good day on the football, & we'd have done our conkers I think.
All good, & Fred is buzzing again.
Excellent.

I did. Channel 4 currently has an American lady with a wonky poppy on. The leaf is on the outside.
Oscar Wilde said they were the only country to go from barbarism to decadence without going through civilisation first

Laying Pool at home is a blind bet for me. Everybody knows the price is too short, the only thing nobody can work out is why it is consistently too short.
Frankly I don't care.
Recommend laying £50 liability to win £81 on Betfair and £10 on Newcastle @ 97/18 with Pinnacle.
Pool win, we lose £60.
Draw, we win £71.
Newcastle win, we win £134.89.

I'm working tonight (6pm - Midnight), & I need some sleep before I go to work, so a limited ability to place bets today, but keep them coming please, & I'll get them on hopefully.
After I finish work, I'll treat myself, & stay up for the late NFL game, so maybe we'll get some interest there, too.
We already have those First TD NFL bets from Bobby, too.

Can someone explain the price on Liverpool this weekend to me because I don't understand it. I have looked at it again and again and I cannot comprehend it.
The other week I was mistaken in my belief that Liverpool had improved. They now appear to be as bad as they were before. I have laid at 1.59.
Bump for tikay. There was lots of agreement on laying Liverpool before this post

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots
