wish i had been awake to take the draw when it did go 40-3  Sad

Yup, me too.

Suppose it depends how you view it, but hindsight can be a beautiful thing.

South Africa bowled pooorly, Clarke especially batted well. Leads from the front

Probably wouldn't have won even if we hadn't lost a day

Hitch up the braces, and go again I am afraid

Yup, our India England Proper Cricket series is our next coup.

You PROMISED us it would not rain during that, too.

Turn this upside down and you can have a game of Racially Aggravated Comment Twister (working title)

looking at that line up if there is any value it would be in backing s africa now and then possibly reviewing the position when/if aus hit 50-3

England have looked ok during the warm ups

Swann is back from leave, Finn and Broad might be fit

However their preparation resembles a Maths Post Grad about to take his doctorate sitting in a field with an abacus counting sheep for preparation

Really haven't seen a spinner of note. In the last match the oppo contained test spinner Mishra, who did not bowl!

Anyway 16-1 4-0 is slowly going, and is now into 12s and 14s in most places

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/india-v-england/india-v-england-tests/india-england-tests/series-correct-score

India 2-0 and 3-0 which you might regard, reasonably, as more nitty alternatives, are in to 6-1/7-1 the pair

Hence the hit the home run out of the park valjue option, postulated a few weeks ago

I do worry (as a fan) about England against Ashwin and Ojha

Advanced recces in Ahmedabad show a flat one.

and no rain.

There was a certain irony in those two colliding!

I find it hard to be nice about John Terry, or admire anything about him (his football excepted), but there were some dreadful comments on Twitter yesterday after he got injured. Wishing a man ill, or an injury that destroys his career, steps way over the line of human decency, imo. There are some strange folks on Twitter.

I plan to get on today, but I want to spread the risk.

What chance do you think there is of there being a draw in any of them? If we could discount draws, then we can narrow it down to, say, 4-0 (16/1), & 3-1 (14/1).

I can see one or two draws

Perhaps one England win (bat first on a flat one...)

So the range of outcomes to me are

4-0
3-0 (one draw)
2-0 (two draws)
3-1
2-1 (one draw)

I would have 2-0 and 2-1 as less likely of those 5, though of course the market doesn't think that.

Excellent figures Mr T in your attempt to achieve a 2000BFAS (2000 bets for a Stannah ).

Soon you will have enough for one of these bad boys.
