They won't remember what they voted for last year.

Also, we're betting prices - it doesn't matter if we think Argo has a better chance of winning - it is 5/1, after all.

Fair point.

Anyone got any sports bets today?

SPORTS BET ALERT!!

As usual when i post on here,it's not a tip as such but a price discrepency!!

Tomorrows ODI batsmen runs

Gambhir under/over 22.5 paddy  but  u/o 29.5 laddies
Bell u/o 22.5 paddy  but u/o 29.5 laddies
Cook u/o 23.5 paddy  but 31.5 laddies

obv someone is wrong somewhere so there is value in whatever you want to do.
i thought about emptying the clip for massive middles bets at the prices but checked for cook and gambhir and they hit the figures( i.e 23-29 for Gambhir only about 10% of the time)

as i think Cooks in great nick ive bet over 23.5.

One other thing about "youwin" which occurred directly after I made my one and only £10 deposit with them(to bet on a 300/1 first round leader at The Open[they laid me £2.20]) was that the next transaction that I made with my debit card at my local supermarket was declined and I had to get in touch with my bank's fraud department and jump through several hoops to get it back working again.

I know abs nothing about cricket but if I could bet with these firms these are must bet markets really. Thread cricket men should get together and pick one side in all three markets, the gaps are too big to ignore. ( I'm assuming they are no worse than 5/6 either side)

Great spots Peejay.

I got £11 on singhee baseball tip. Would spin give you best idea for runs?

If they do, we will......as long as it is not an account-closer jobbie.

PS - Thanks peejaytwo!

Dear lily livered cowards,

It has come to attention there are mutterings in the ranks about "greening out" or "hedging" your San Francisco bets.

What are you men or mice?

Take a deep breath, stop that quivering of your top lip, think of Queen and country and hold firm.

If you must twitch at Evens in the final *if* they play the Patriots sobeit.

I'll look away and won't think any less of you.

But now is not the time. We should be pressing, not hedging.

In Kaepernick we trust.

Regards

Keith

Seriously, I don't think laying at 3.3 is value.

I think San Fran should be a deal shorter than the 1.6 to beat the Falcons.

1.5 feels right to me, then 2.0 to beat the Pats seems rock solid (Plus we have the chance the Ravens turn them over).

That means I make SF bang on 2/1 to win it all.

The only reason to hedge now is if you've had more than you can afford on as the original bet.

If that's the case you shouldn't be gambling!

CBL go 35.5 for player performance with A.Cook- Obviously this includes runs/catches/wickets/stumpings. This quote must be made up of that. Now factoring in Spins price of 40-45, we can safely say unless Cook gets a catch a game then the over 25.5 runs looks pretty solid as an overs bet in my opinion. 4/5 now with PP now though

Gambhir is 38-43 with Spin, I don't know where he fields for India but going on the 0.5 catch a game theory, that means we can expect his runs to be somewhere around 30-34 surely?

Same with Ian Bell, 40-45, however Bell is an extremely good fielder and probably is higher than Gambhir/Bell to take a catch. With that in mind I still like the overs on all 3 with Paddy Power.

Their averages won't be a true reflection of whether they get over x runs because they score way more sometimes and have not outs etc. I think this method of using Spin/CBL prices adapted could work, not very mathsy but led me to back the overs on all 3. I'm sure someone could do a better job, but I'm fairly sure Ladbrokes have a cricket compiler so would fancy their prices to be better as well.
