Don't lay off now pussies, San Fran will tear Atlanta a new one, they couldn't get close to Russell Wilson yesterday.
Plus, when destiny sees Baltimore get revenge for last year, we will be strong jollies in the Harbaugh Bowl.

Kaepernick 7/2 to be Superbowl MVP? Crabtree at 25/1?
The last 9 MVPs have all been QBs or WRs and given Kaepernick also seems to be a running back this gives him extra clout. However, Crabtree gets thrown the ball a lot so is it possible for him to get ahead of Kaepernick if he pings in 3 or 4 TDs?
Value in either of these?

Dear lily livered cowards,
It has come to attention there are mutterings in the ranks about "greening out" or "hedging" your San Francisco bets.
What are you men or mice?
Take a deep breath, stop that quivering of your top lip, think of Queen and country and hold firm.
If you must twitch at Evens in the final *if* they play the Patriots sobeit.
I'll look away and won't think any less of you.
But now is not the time. We should be pressing, not hedging.
In Kaepernick we trust.
Regards
Keith

Worry not, Fred has no plans to do anything, or at not least yet awhile.
It is a reasonable and valid discussion point though.
Fred is adequately funded and has no need to hedge due to 'roll size, but I do know of several folks who would like a saver, and do not know the how, what, why or when.
Hopefully the discussion will aid them and others. Many of us have not been in any lovely spots like this before.
Whatever happens, we will make good money when the 49ers take it down, I would not miss that buzz for the world.
In Kap - and Mr O - we trust.

Spreadex are 39-44 for Gambhir and 40-44 for cook/bell
Player perf tho so discount 3 or so for a catch

7/2 looks like value to me.

The 49ers must win at 9/4 for this to happen. If they win Kaepernick is 4/6 to be MVP? Don't see a whole lot if value. Plus we are overexposed to the 49ers, as the max should only be £150, so pressing from £250 seems a but reckless too.

This is the key.
If you bet within the correct constraints of your roll, you should only be hedging if you reckon the price is value to do so.
You can't hedge if you've backed a greyhound at 5/1.
By greening out now you will have taken a decent proportion of the risk - would SF win the division, would they make a top 2 seeding, would they beat GB - without getting the full reward.
I don't want anyone crying or moaning or bitching at me if they lose on Sunday, so if you are totally risk averse - go ahead, green out.
But you took my advice to back San Francisco, my advice now is not to hedge at current prices. It isn't value.

To be fair, I am greening out in a sense for Sunday.
If I wasn't on SF outright, I'd definitely be backing them big at 1.6 at Atlanta.
Although I'll still probably bet them, the bet won't be nearly as big as it might have been.

(As in the Superbowl teams)

Thanks for the talk of MVP Andrew. I have had a bet in that market now and think it's probably worth a small thread bet.
Tony Gonzalez to be the Superbowl MVP at 66/1 with Laddies, Atlanta are 6/1 to win the Superbowl so at 66/1 it puts him in at around to 17/2 to be voted MVP if they do win it. He cannot be 17/2 to be voted MVP if Atlanta win it given he is widely respected and admired by the fans and press who make up the vote. He is almost certain to retire at the end of the season which will be highlighted both going into and during the game. He would have a great chance if Atlanta win and he puts up over 50-60 yards and a TD which are easily reachable for him.
Maybe worth a fiver or tenner for thread.
