Were/are we expecting SF's D-Line to get closer to Matt Ryan? He'll surely pick passes all day from the pocket if they don't?
The SF front 4 has got pressure all year whoever they have played. So far the Atlanta Offensive line is playing lights out
Unless the SF defense gets pressure and sacks then no secondary is going to stop White/Jones/Gonzalez...you can't stop them all when Ryan has 7-10 seconds to find an open man
Why are they not getting pressure? Partly the OL, partly Justin Smith's injury..partly not blitzing
In the second half they need to get a turnover or some sacks to change things up

27 Rushing Yards for Turner, could be worse as he hasn't gained many the past 10 Minutes.

Thanks. Yes I am surprised I haven't seen a blitz at all yet. Is that something borne of their fear of the short pass over the blitz to the tight ends?

We need SF to keep scoring or this bet is in big trouble. He will see a lot of the ball with Atlanta leading late. Also SF will bring more pressure as the game goes on (see Tighty´s post above) and this is bad for the bet too.

The Weakness of the defense (most defenses) is in the "flats" ie behind the front and in front of the secondary. So they keep Willis and Bowman off rushing the QB to try to prevent the 10-15 yard passes
The genius of the defense has been that the front 4 could terrorise the QB on its own, thus 7 could be covering which is higher than most teams can commit to the pass
If they can't pressure up front, which is rare, and unfortunately was the case so far tonight, then they need to consider blitzing linebackers

As ever, an education.

Another last team to get the ball wins the match coming up
Unless the 49ers defense comes to the party, starting now

Does annoy me when commentators call their sport 'a chess match'.
Really isn't.

The Bisping fight looked a little flawed in how it was stopped. I think he was defending himself after the kick to the head and therefore was fine with the barrage of punches coming his way. He basically, probably, needed to take a bit more punishment until he came to his senses and mount a counter.
Seems a little unfair the ref came into stop it when he was still contesting the fight. I stopped watching straight after the ref called it, and not too sure if I am talking bollocks.
Can't complain too much with the stoppage, obviously I'd rather the ref had given him a little more time. He was starting to come round but probably would have just got pounded some more.
