Regardless of outcome, I've seen enough now to satisfy myself that the logic for the bet was sound.  This is much more competitive and the interview with JJ Watt showed that the players are mindful of the criticism from Goodell.

Metta World Peace was apparently gonna come play in England during last year's lockout but they sorted it out before he got the chance. There's been a few name changes in the NBA, the highest scorer in NBA history, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, was Lew Alcindor, quite a few come to mind who found Islam actually, Abdul-Rahif I remember, but the best are the comedy names. There was a defo a World B Free in the NBA before Metta World Peace.

Wasn't there an Aussie Rules player who changed his name to something to like Pedigree Chum (some kind of animal food) so they got publicity every times he touched the ball. Think the league suspended him til he changed it back tho so that went tits up.

One of the teams changed their name this week, the New Orleans Hornets, who used to be the Charlotte Hornets, are now the New Orleans Pelicans. Charlotte, who now have the Bobcats, apparently want the Hornets name back. Got that tikay?

Lakers looked good today tho surely any oppo should be able to post Nash every possession and score at will.
