Cue comedy cheers when Michelle and Kelly turn up in matching outfits.

It is a serious business this misc. betting Tal.  Was the 2nd most profitable "sport" last month. Even though thread missed it, the more Eagle eyed thread readers should already have the first leg in of the big misc. double this weekend.

Come on Michelle and Kelly, don't get coerced into appearing like a pair of backing singers.  Insist on your right as equal starus band members to wear the same colour.

Oh and good luck on the other bets on the more serious stuff tonight, even if the majority of thread readers are likely just tuning in for the half time show!

Congrats on the Eagle coup, Doobs. Incredible foresight.

Hopefully, another "Misc" will come in soon, £50 @ 2/1 the 2nd series of "Splash".

Tyvm for the Eagle rec mate, managed some on at 7-2 after you'd mentioned 4's a few weeks back

Quick question, did you go back in for last night at the 1/4-1/5 offered during this last week?

I made him nearer a 1/10 shot and only my dislike for heavy odds on punting, plus my healthy position in the market, stopped me from pressing large.

Obv aftertime somewhat but really annoyed I didn't, bar a very small token amount to satisfy my value searching.

Can't believe I'm gonna say this.

Really like Aaron's rec on Bolton.

33-1 is way ool and should be a bigger bet than £5, I just tried to get on this and was offered 68p, local shop it is then.

Don't like the wolves bet nor price really though, just think it's a punt at the right price.

My point is, you should bet more on the bet where you are getting more value, just because something is 15-2 doesn't mean you have to bet double what you do on the 33-1 shot.

Always amazes me how people back big on shorter price shots-often with little value as the price is right, and less on big price basic ricks.

I don't qualify as an esteemed member/elder of fred, but if I did I'd advise at least another fiver on the 33's, probs more.

Won't last long, it's a price that needs to fall back into line with the general 16's.

Backing ricks is also a great Account-Killer.

I'm happy with our £5, but good luck to those who bet more, & well done to Aaron for spotting it.

just because something is 15-2 doesn't mean you have to bet double what you do on the 33-1 shot.

Yes, I'm aware of that! I have to make decisions with my money, & I thought they were two decent fun bets. Remember, others can back as much as they like. I get it wrong, quite often, but we enjoy ourselves in doing so.

Regarding ricks yes you are right, but not for the amounts you mention, if you tried to get a ton on yes you're right.

My point wasn't aimed towards you Tony, Aaron recced a very small bet on the Bolton bet and a larger one on the wolves.

Incidentally, I got my Bet365 account severely Restricted after betting on an obvious "rick", & I really miss being able to use that site, as they often go good prices on Goalscorer Markets.

Live & learn.

365 are pretty quick at restricting accounts that are not mug punters.

Yes you can nurture an account and keep it, but it's very tough work and imo this thread is too public to keep a fresh ac with them going.

Saying this as someone who knows ppl who work there, plus I worked there too at uni...for one day!

Quick note on Aaron, who gets a bit of stick everywhere, some of it deserved.

His ROI here is about 100%, albeit on an insignificant Sample Size.

Note to Aaron - NO CHIRPING, I'll remove any aftertiming chirps. Wink

Ben Affleck won the director prize at the DGAs - the Argo bandwagon keeps on rolling. It's now 1.37 to win the best picture Oscar, with Lincoln out to 3.75. Les Mis is 50. Argo is also 1.29 to win the Bafta.

Looks like we were right to oppose Lincoln, but with the wrong film.

We have FOUR Accounts that are either Closed, Severely Restricted, or Restricted, now, so I try to tread carefully.

Stan James - Closed

Bet365 - Severely Restricted

Ladbrokes & Blue Square - both coded for 50% above certain amounts now.

I have never had a duplicate acount in my life, & never will, I don't believe in it, so if we lose many more Accounts, it's gg us.

Bugger.

Are we still in with a shot at the BAFTA things?

If only you guys knew how confusing I find all this. I bet for 40 years on Fixed Odds in LBO's, thats all there was, & all this is a whole new world to me, I find it incredibly difficult to work it all out sometimes, so I trusted the advice I got.

If you want to get with Italy you could do worse than selling the France supremecy at 13 with Spreadex  Grin

Ha!

I've done with Spreads I'm afraid, I got myself in a bit of a mess with them many years ago.

I shared a table with your namesake on Friday, "peejay", smashing lad. It appears he is not your son, though. If my detective work is correct, you are rfqqbbqqbbcqqa Senior, right?

Don't worry too much about stan james, absolute joke of a site which will restrict or close if you can spell your name correctly.

Worth a quick glance every now and then at action man's post itt a few hundred pages back, pretty sure bobby1 elaborated on it too.

Def worth nurturing accounts with odd 'muggy' bets every now and then to throw them of the scent.

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/baltimore-ravens-at-san-francisco-49ers/total-rushing-attempts-frank-gore

Maybe I'm looking for very small edges here but the line is between 18.5/19.5 for number of rushing attempts for Gore. He's gone over 20 attempts in 5/7 matches since Kaepernick took over from Smith, including all postseason games this year.

Sadly, the best prices by a mile are with Pinnacle and Stan James, and I don't think Thread bets with either of these.

No reason why not. Baftas don't offer much guidance to the Oscars.

It really is quite surprising how much the love for Lincoln has dissipated.

I'm still vainly hoping Jessica Chastain gets the Best Actress, but Jennifer Lawrence is holding firm. Maybe it's because she was able to act alongside Bradley Cooper and not punch him for wasting what seems to be a reasonable acting talent.
