I am not an expert on this market by any stretch of the imagination but the stats guy in me thinks over 11.5 1/2 is much better than over 15 11/8 from an EV perspective.

I've seen it all now. Fight is advertised as a 12 rounder, announced as a 12 rounder and Botha thinks its a 12 rounder. SBW gasses badly and they change if to a 10 rounder mid fight with SBW out on his feet at the end of the 10th. Bent as fuck.  SBW wins a UD which was the right decision had it been a 10 round fight as Botha did nothing for 6 rounds but SBW would not have seen out another two rounds.

That sounds like a well dodgy fight.

You did warn us though, it was either a great price or a bent fight.

They, really are an embarrassment. Allowed 3 quid online, by the time I get to the shop it is 5/6 o12.5... There was 90secs between my activity online and arriving in shop. Pathetic.

I spoke last night about Eden Park, the T20 being played on a rugby ground tomorrow with short straight boundaries

I tried to get a better depiction of the strange dimensions of this for cricket

and the stadium site shows the above which gives you an idea, showing the rugby pitch and the cricket boundaries

Including the England Tour last in 2008, the following T20s have been played in Auckland

2008 Eng 13 sixes
2008 W Indies 14 sixes
2010 Pakistan 16 sixes
2012 Zimbabwe 13 sixes
2013 S Africa 12 sixes

the 16 sixes game was remarkable, as 143 included 7 sixes, 146 won it with 9 sixes

For the nit, Ladbrokes will offer you over 11.5 tomorrow at 4/6. Given steady extraneous factors (waether etc) this is really a 1/2 shot.

The drop in pitch is light in colour and looks a belter

For a sporting chance with Sporting bet, over 15 at 11/8

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/new-zealand-v-england/t20-series/new-zealand-v-england-%5B1st-t20%5D/total-6s

Thanks Tighty.

I was faffing about & missed the best  Paddy Power price, but I have beaten your price (4/6) handsomely with Wm Hill.

We have £60 @ 5/6, Wm Hill, OVER 11.5 x Sixes, New Zealand v England, T20.

These things happen I suppose and I knew there was a chance it was bent.  Still a bit painful mind you but we live and learn.
