Darts tomorrow night premier league

James Wade Average vs Phil Taylor (Thursday 28th Feb Premier League)

The "line" is currently set at 94.5 for Wades ave. He has being throwing really well in the last few weeks, he really seems to be getting his confidence back and shaking his demons.  Combine that with the "Taylor effect" i think he could be more like up near 98 if he turns up (no reason to think he wont on recent form). He really has looked like he is approaching his best of late

He has played 3 games so far with the following averages:

1. 87.32 (won)
2. 91.54 (lost)
3. 100.59 (won)

(overall Ave 93.15)

Wade has frequently stepped up to the plate vs taylor in the Premier League. He will likely lose, but providing he throws well and Taylor precludes him from doubles when he has the darts I think we might see a good ave from wade.

Recommned £50 (i believe best odds are 5/6)

*note from Camel (and very valid), not sure if the formal draw for playing order has been made, but the later in proceedings Wade comes up, the worse our bet looks, as he likes a drink (not sure if any of his treatment is limiting his drinking at all - chaps?). I wouldnt let this stop people getting on

FWIW - this bet went up on Monday, but i took it down on advice - Camel, Bazza and snowball already confirmed they like the bet

I think Marco Fu is an ok bet at 11/8 with Corals in his match against Mark Williams in the World Open snooker 2morrow Tony. We know Williams has been in poor form and added to that he as just become a father again in the last two weeks so might be a chance he isn't any sharper than he was in Wales two weeks ago. Fu was beaten in the German final a few weeks ago and then ran into Mark Allen in Wales.

The price is under on BF too so looks to be a touch of value. Maybe 40/60 quid. 5/4 with Hills prob ok too

cheers

Thanks Phil.

We have £40 & 11/8, Corals, Fu.

ON

Can't c & p the betslip, am on the ippy, will do so in the morning.

Just remember, sorry.

We had £40 @ 11/8, Corals, Fu to beat Williams, down to bobby1.

Guy, is the playing order by a draw?

I don't think I have ever seen Taylor up first? I thought they set it by "TV marketability" so you are more likely to get MVG, Taylor etc up late to keep the audience watching?

No it isnt by draw, but Taylor haas not been last every week like he used to be after complaining earlier this year. Id also add that the "headline" game appears to be match 4 in this extended league format, rather than match 5.

Strong chance they use this as match 4 but hopefully not.

It is advertised as the 3rd match of 5.

Afternoon Mr T.

I owe you an apology. I was going to put a rugby league bet up last Sunday but as our try scorer bet got home in such a lucky fashion I wimped out and stuck on my weekends profit. Of course Salford then obliged at 6-1 which made me richer, but I have felt bad for you since then.

A big thank you to todays snooker tipsters who have enabled me to have a free bet on the next pope.

Tomorrow sees the start of the PGA Golf Honda classic. With the 2 favourites in bad form I have been looking lower down for some value. I think we should support Dr Noh again for a small bet. He has made 4 cuts in a row after missing it in his season opener and showed signs of coming to the boil when we backed him 2 weeks ago, finishing 16th. We must remember he is only 21 years old and has little experience of these courses but he did make the cut in this tournament last year. He is a bigger price than 3G who in his blog is admitting to not having a clue on the greens.

Paddy Power are paying out on 6 places so I suggest £2.50 e/w Dr Noh @ 80-1.

Hopefully some others will provide a few darts as well.

Afternoon hector.

I did wonder on Sunday, as you had said you had two specific selections lined up for the weekend. 6/1, oooh. Well done. Glad you got on the snooker bet, too. You were either late to bed, or up early.

As to the Honda Classic, yes, I'm rather hoping we will have a little portfolio of bets for it. With such large fields, & variance, it makes sense to spread the money a little bit.

Anyway.....

We have £2.50 EW, 80/1, Paddy Power, on Dr Noh, Honda Golf Classic, qrtr odds  Top 6. Good fun for a fiver.

Footnote. Almost by habit now, I pressed the "MAX" Button on Paddy Power, just to see how much they would permit.

£2.80 EW.

Haha, they're much the same with myself and I doubt I'm even winning there.

I had a couple NFL first t/d coups courtsey of the shrewdies, and I had a bit back from them on Paul Ince being named Blackpool Manager.

Would be nice to hit them up for a nice chunk though at a big price for being such mugs!

Meanwhile Bingham is through to the last 16

The draw shakes out as follows

Mark Allen               v       Robert Milkins
RICKY WALDEN       v       MAGUIRE/CAMPBELL
MARCO FU               v       DING JUNHUI
STUART BINGHAM       v       HIGGINS/MCMANUS
---------------------------------------------------------------------
judd Trump       v       Nigel Bond
Matthew Stevens    v       Shaun Murphy
Neil Robertson       v       Graeme Dott
Barry Hawkins       v       Mark Selby

The draw. Top 3 favourites in the betting are in the bottom half....Trump, Robertson, Selby

So the value is to find someone in the top half to final

I chose Bingham, as in-form and with Higgins beatable over a shorter format

but it may be another, the point being is that there are reasonable betting prices on the likes of Walden and Fu too  because of the composition of the draw

Bingham, Walden and Fu are all value in a top half without the top three ranked players

I watched the Ding game earlier and he wasn't in the best of form, Fu might be some value here

I have a dart suggestion for the Honda.

Sang Moon-Bae is a Korean golfer who really caught my eye when he first came onto the scene last year in the USA but seemed to lose his way towards the end of the season missing cut after cut. He is starting to look as though he might be back on track again now and I have backed him @ 110 in the win market on betty.

Suggest Fred has £2.50EW Sang Moon-Bae @ 100/1 (PP, Satan orSB for best place terms).

Thanks Ralph.

The 100/1 with Six places paid from those three firms has all gone.

I can get 80/1, 6 places paid, or 100/1, 5 places paid.

Which do you think is best? (There's one for the Equity & Maths Geeks, too).

PS - I warched Mr BAE, or Mr Sang, whatever his name is, recently, & he has amazing game for one so young.

I'm sure he has a win in him.
