Think John Higgins may be a bet vs Ding in the next. Priced up fairly close which would seem fair based on their records vs each other but saying that having watched ding play vs both Fu and Holt, he seems to be giving his opponents a fair few chances (although he is making some fantastic breaks in the process). Both the previous opponents have failed to take advantage of Dings mis-steps however I wouldn't expect Higgins to, who has been playing fantastically as of late - most recently with a 5-0 victory over Stuart Bingham!

Would recommend £30 Higgins @ 10/11 with corals.

Thanks.

I don't know much about recent snooker form, anyone got a view on this?

Think we need to be sharp, I suspect it starts shortly.

EDIT - too late, it appears to have started already, & Higgins is now 1/2.

Apologies for moving the Bingham snooker bet prematurely to the March sheet.

Lovely analysis Vince, thank you, ditto for keeping Freddie Spready up to date & immaculate throughout.

Good to see 4 new Tipsters, the more the better.

30% ROI for February does the ego good, but there were some exceptionals, + of course our fickle friend Lady Variance.

3.2% ROI since Day One is better than I dared hope when we begun this, but we've had so much good advice, & now it is almost disappointing, so we now need to aim for 4% as the next target.

Overall, Football at 5.94% over 14 months & 400 bets is pretty good I think.

The NFL season served us well,  74 bets & 25% ROI. The 9-ers helped a lot, of course, but even without that, we cleared over 12% I think, which is pretty good. We are well served by our NFL guys. Roll on next season.

Rugby League at 77% is remarkable, the sample size is quite small (31 bets) but even if variance hits us, I fancy we'll remain profitable. Mere gave us some nice RL bets early days, but most of them come from hector now.

Basketball, -39% over 52 bets, & just shy of a £1,000 loss, I don't really know what to say. Sample size, whatever, the numbers keep hitting me in the eye. I don't mean to upset anyone, but if this were a business, the decision would be easy. Then again, Gonzago could knock a big hole in the losses.....

Anyway, seems to me that we strike a great balance between punting, & having fun, & I can't see why Forums exist, or recreational time, if it is not to enjoy ourselves. The thread proves that Forum Threads without aggro or trolls can really be enjoyable.

Horses in February did really well, mainly down to two lovely bets, Bitaphon (Camel, +£100) & Darkestbeforedawn (BadBeat, +£300 approx).

NFL profit in February was down to the 9-ers, who, as it happens, lost, but we covered nicely & did well out of it. One of the best fun bets we have ever had.

£100 came from "Splash" (Doobsy, +£100).

Most of the balance was bits & bobs, which is a good sign I think, plenty of small winners fits the bill perfectly.

We have some good bets in the book going forward, too, & to be fair, some pretty bad ones, too. The Liability stands at £837.50, & I'm confident it is worth more than that.

Our next major challenge - and what a challenge - is Cheltenham.

We have quite a good few bob invested at good prices already, & I'm sure there will be a lot more.

We may have to make a limit as to the total we invest in Cheltenham. There are tons of value spots there, but they take some finding. How many times have punters done their entire roll at Cheltenham, after going in with high hopes? Happy to have some Cheltenham fun, but we won't be betting enough to go broke.

Personally re Cheltenham i would now wait until the day

Prices are unlikely to change to much from here on in and last year there were more money back specials than ever in an ever growing market

Yup, EVERYONE.

I attended Cheltenham as a Member for 20 years straight, always went down with a pocket full of money & a heart full of hope.  Coming home was usually a long & miserable journey, though with some great memories.
