10-14th in the Prem have 33 points.

It is going to be close below them, then!

I was just about to write that 4/5 or better we should back Wales.  England are turgid but I suspect useful enough to not lose by more than 12 points. Will e-mail Mr Lancaster and let him know that I can play right wing.

Just confirm for me, Tighty (or anyone else), if Wales win, is the victor decided by points difference or the results between the sides?

points diff

Need to work out how many points Wales are behind

pre match Wales were 9-1 to win the 6N

Suggest 2 or 3-1 is right, depending on what points deficit they need to overhaul

Wales need to win by 8 points to win the 6N

Waiting to see what prices but thats probably a 7-2/4-1 shot, off the top of my head

http://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-union/six-nations/six-nations/winner

7/2 Wales to win by 8 and win the title

Will ponder, but if Wales really are 13/8 to win a one off at home, I am all over it. Refreshes oddschecker

Wales 11/10,5/4,6/4, 13/8

I price them 10/11 at worst

Any odds against price for Wales in the 6N decider, we should take it

Players coming back into form, home advantage...i'd price them 4/5 to win next week

Would be a travesty if this England side won a Grand Slam, and an indictment of how weak NH rugby is

Really can't agree with that but I'm busy shouting at a referee.

A couple of months ago I wrote that I thought Liverpool were improving and we should stop laying them...

...I think this is the fourth time I have ignored my words.

Need to find that post and stick it next to my PC

Sigh.

Meh - there is absolutely no angle I can think of that justifies the Liverpool price today.  You have to justify every bet on a game by game basis and whilst that often means that you are betting the same sides or against the same sides week in week out it should always be on the basis of price.  Think Liverpool probably are justified in being 1/3 shots against the Fulhams and sunderlands of the world now but they are never odds on against Spurs. (I realise Spurs have just scored but I did start writing this before they scored!!!!)

I took £40 @ 13/8 with WH for myself as soon as the prices went up, & can proof that if need be.

If Fred wants that £40 @ 13/8, I will transfer it across, as long as we are not thought to be acting improperly or 'owt. My concern was that I will be Offline from 6pm until 1am, & I could not possibly see that price lasting.

If it's 13/8 no grand slam winner then you've also got the draw as well, thus adding (very slightly) to your value.
I'm going in.

I agree it is a bet. If hector does too I would suggest putting it on thread.

Alwaya a bit anxious before markets settle, but Wales aren't 13/8 next week imo

England is very close to being a really good side. Strength in depth and explosive talent.

Wales look like a good side on the way down, with replacements not filling the boots of those they come on for.

Ireland and France aren't helped by team selection and tactics.

Italy played really well today.
