Am out tonight guys, quick question.

What time (UK) does the NZ - England cricket start, ditto the Basketball?

Can sort out during the Evening if need be.

Thanks.

PS - think we are on Cardiff tonight.

I am busy tonight

FYP

Ha, fair point David, no more Fred tonight until I get home.

Updates on my Diary  every time I win a hand, or every 3 hours, whichever comes sooner.

While it's reasonably quiet, thought I might just post a couple of links to articles in the broadsheets about Fred's chess prospect, Magnus Carlsen:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/chess/9923191/Norwegian-chess-prodigy-Magnus-Carlsen-sets-sights-on-right-to-play-for-world-championship.html

http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/mar/10/chess-magnus-carlsen-world-title

Neither article is particularly "chessy" and both are designed for a broader audience.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal remain on course to meet in the Indian Wells Masters quarter-finals after both reached the last 16 in California.

Swiss star Federer, ranked second in the world, beat Croatia's Ivan Dodig 6-3 6-1 in the third round.

Spaniard Nadal progressed on a walkover as Argentine opponent Leonardo Mayer withdrew because of a back injury.

Federer, a four-time champion at Indian Wells, had to overcome a back problem to defeat Dodig in 61 minutes.

But he is not worried that it could affect his fourth-round match against Swiss Davis Cup team-mate Stanislas Wawrinka on Wednesday.

"I felt a little something in my back at the end," the 17-time Grand Slam champion said. "I'll just have to check it out. Hopefully I'll be fine."

I dunno if anyone is following the next Pope betting but there has been a big move for the Brazilian Scherer over the last few days and he has now moved to 2nd fav behind Scola. Personally I see him as a stalking horse but what do I know?

Sandro Magister is a leading Vatican journalist who is very well connected and respected. He reportedly is regularly read by the out going Pope Benedict. He wrote an article a few days ago which is pretty interesting;
http://chiesa.espresso.repubblica.it/articolo/1350453?eng=y
In it, he predicts the move for Scherer (before the betting market anyway) and he also sees American Cardinal Timothy Dolan eventually getting the big job.

He has written a couple of articles since, his latest from yesterday again hinting that the USA is 'at the centre of the new geography'.
http://chiesa.espresso.repubblica.it/articolo/1350460?eng=y

Reccommend £5 Timothy Dolan @ 64/1 with Betfair.

I haven't spent a great deal of time on the bumper and it will probably be the first bet in a bumber since March 2011, but two good judges independently said The Liquidator to me.
