In news from down under it looks like Mercedes have improved their pace from last year.  Nico Rosberg was third quickest in first practice and Hamilton 7th.  Unfortunately it appears Red Bull are a bit clear of them.

Current Betfair odds have Hamilton at 10s to win the first race, and I think we have him at 12s.  So we have a slither of value, but not as much as I hoped.

I have just realised that we have Irish Saint as a bet in the Triumph Hurdle, in fact it was declared a non-runner a while back, so our figures are over-stated by £20.

We will correct this in tomorrow's numbers.

Still over 4% tho... Right?

4.03%. Wink

Good good.

Worth checking these things.

I think we have to start the last rights for the Tarla TTF bet.  She had a couple of entries at Cheltenham but didn't make it.  Shame that Quevega had the same trainer, as she could have been 2nd favourite for that race.
I think the bet was sound, she did start long odds on for her 2 races so far, and Quevega has run just as much as expected.  So I think we have some Sklansky bucks for the spreadsheet, but real money is going to be a bit more elusive.

I have just realised that we still have Irish Saint as a bet in the Triumph Hurdle, in fact it was declared a non-runner a while back, so our figures are over-stated by £20.

We will correct this in tomorrow's numbers.

It is down as NRNB so we don't lose anything?

BOOM!

You are right, of course.

Lost £20, found a score.

Am I safe to remove it from the Spready, as a loser? If so, will do so tomorrow.

Not my greatest 24 hours I am afraid

Bingham played poorly

Federer below par due to injury

Rain then Australia win the toss on a flat one

Meanwhile Anderson and Broad are tied at 5 wickets each in the series bowler bet

Mullins leads Henderson 5-3. Henderson has the top two in the gold cup, the jolly in the Triumph amongst others today

Would be tough to lose the bet from here though, as if its tied Mullins is still paid out I think

Think it was non runner free bet so you will need to use the promo cash granted by Victor Wink

I think you are probably safe.  She has an entry for next week, but it is a long way back from 0 points and the competition finishes at Aintree.  So you can remove it for good in 3 weeks.

I will need to check that, Ed, I have it down as "NRNB", & you know how reliable I am.

Morning Mr T.

When I give a losing tip I feel bad. When I have a fancy for something but don't put it up I feel bad when it wins. Now thanks to Mr Superwomble I give a winning tip and I feel bad. Why can't he be like you with the mis-clickages ? You mis-click and end up with 3 winning bets instead of 1. I blame the education system.

I think we need to take the price  from Ladbrokes for Wigan to beat Leeds tonight. I have previously stated my thoughts on my Leeds team and tonight they play against an in form Wigan, who I make a 4/6 shot. I can only see Leeds winning if they play better than they have all season and Wigan have an off night.

Suggest Wigan £20 @ Evs with Ladbrokes.

A good friend of mine is part owner of Kashmir Peak, they are concerned about the potential rain.
