Texted my cycling man about Quintana for the TdF.

His reply was to the point.

"Lol, no"

Haha. I knew that being a newbie, I'd get a bit of stick from Fred.

Truth is I've been lurking for a while now, ever since trying to teach myself the nuances of online poker (and failing miserably). Lately, I've resorted to trying to take money away from the bookies instead of other fish, having most of my success in the golf. So I might just be tempted to enter the Augusta tipsters comp.

I don't think I've ever used any of Fred's tips in my bets, but I've definitely found TfT very useful in second-guessing myself. There are definitely a lot of very clued up people around here. Most of the time though, I'm the last one out of the traps, missing out on classic scores like England v San Marino and "Cyprus/James".

I've been looking for something to pay back my debt to Fred, and I truly believe I've found great value in Quintana. Thanks for having a little faith in me tikay. I'm looking forward to July and the accompanying sweat.

By the way, "cheapwetsuit"" comes from suffering a bad beat. When I used to surf, you could often get beaten by a wave like a cheap wetsuit on the reef. Hope it's not the case here.

The quotes for points in the super league game tonight between Leeds and Warrington look too high. The 7/4 with Stan James for under 46 looks decent but for Mr T the Evs for under 52 points with William Hill looks very good.

I feel Mr T is in the land of nod but if he wakes up and fancies it then it kicks off at 6.45pm.

Only 1 of Leeds's games has had more than 42 points and that was a home game against Salford. Leeds attack is old,and predictable but their defence is old and OK, especially at home.

Missed it, you were correct.

Sorry h.

There is in-running betting, but it is odds-on now.

He's just a boy, Adzy, but he is immensely gifted, & you'll have plenty of chances to win with him in the coming years, if he contiues to develop, & can avoid the temptations which distract so many of the lads.

More a question than a tip...

Moto GP (a sport I know next to nothing about) broom brooms off tonight (technical term) in Qatar.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/motogp/qatar-grand-prix/winner

Betfair price on Rossi has been sliding and he is now flirting with 17/2.

Goodness only knows whether he is capable of coming back and being the Valentino of old but is this a case of the price being worthy of note?

Great TV, that.

Sadly, I think he is past his prime, & I assume machinery is the difference between the best riders, as it largely is in F1.

Pedroza & Lorenze look set for a 1-2, but I would not put you off the value in Rossi @ that price. You can get half odds Top Three.

Noted, skipper.

Will likely have a tickle for purposes of avoiding needing to kick myself tomorrow. Rather than Kelly Criteria, my bet sizing is the smallest amount without kicking myself.

Can't disagree, the price is very tempting. A small interest is definitely sweat-worthy.

It's not a big percentage chance difference, I suppose.

Isn't smashedagain Fred's moto tipster?

Hodgson missed with the last kick of the game to leave the points tally at 50.
I added the two scores together for you because I know how you are with numbers.

Also, 50 < 52.
