Tikay. If you can't control your children you may have to be reported to the social.

As I seemed to have caused such a fuss with my Blackburn opinion...thought I'd try again   Wink

Port Vale at 8/11 (Whills) has to be value.....

I would have thought 1/3 would have been right.

Port Vale vs Aldershot.  2nd vs 24th.

Vale - Pro's
Vale last time out won 7-1,
They could just about lock up promotion with a win.

Con's
They have 3 doubtful for tonight
Might be down due to championship out the question following Gills win.

Aldershot - Pro's
2 games in hand, 24th a false position
A later winner last time out, has the manager stating "it'll give them a catalyst for the relegation battle

Con's
Last 10 games, 5 draws and 3 losses
Lost Utility player Aaron Morris, who is a "massive loss"

I believe Vale to be great value for a win.

@Tal: Do you know if a date has been set for your lot's postponed game with Chelski?

Hi Fraser,

Welcome back.

I really don't know if that was a value price or not, but I've been a bit busy today with other stuff, & work, so I missed it.

Unrelated (sort of) but we have a fair bit of stuff invested in the IPL, (see the Spready) including Mumbai Indians outright, so we'd love to see them win today.

No date as yet.

Spurs website still showing it as 14/4, which is obviously wrong.

My tip for tonight is Dortmund to win more corners than Malaga in first half at 1/2.

Dortmund will be looking for that early goal to settle the nerves and Malaga will be trying to keep it as tight as possible for long as possible.

Can see Dortmund being camped in Malaga half for the first half atleast.

the double corners result is 8/13 but I wouldn't recommend that; if Malaga are losing at ht they will have to go for it.

Recommending £75 Dortmund most first half corners at 1/2 with WH.

Hope you get on

I will be having a ton of bets on the Masters but I think the most interesting one is a bet on the first round leader.  It looks as thought there is a significant chance of bad weather later in the afternoon.  It is due to reach about 1-2pm so ideally we want a player that is finished by then which means a teetime of 10am or earlier.  There may well be a 100/1 shot that is good value here each way but I am going to stick to a simpler approach and just look at the front of the market.

This is a list of players under 50/1 (I used 365 prices) to lead after the first round with a teetime before 10am:

Westwood
Rose
Snedeker
Schwartzel
Gmac

So five players out of 13.  I think we need to eliminate Snedeker simply because we already bet him to win the tournament and it doesn't look great with his injury at the moment.  Increasing our exposure on him seems silly to me.  If he goes well we will just be happy.  I dont really like McDowell either just because he has missed the cut here twice.  Of the other three I can't really split them.  They all average below 70 for their first rounds over their last 50 events.  westwood and Rose have both led the event after the first round in the last five years and Schwartzel is a past winner so they all look solid to me and would suggest we bet them all each way.  Best prices are 20/1 Rose with Ladbrokes. 33/1 Westwood with Ladbrokes and 33/1 Schwartzel with Betvictor.  Suggest 15 e/w on each of them.

Would have been better imo if he had added line about a tikay tip....something like:

I'm twisting my Melo's man
You know a tikay tip man
 I'm twisting my Melo's man.

Something like that but given Tal was probably only about 5 when the record came out I will give him a solid 7/10
