It's a very tough game, my first ever proper bet was Greg Norman to win masters in 1996- i was 13. Had £20@14s which was my roll at the time, Kelly must have suggested 100% of roll. My Dad offered to buy the ticket from me for £200 before the last round. Basically suggesting Norman was 1/2, obviously snap said no, too shrewd to lay off at 1/2 pre bf days at 13 years old.

Old man trying to pinch a price from me

You should have called Esther Rantzen.

That was child abuse.

Just to add to your sea of red,

Kurt Maflin lost 10-8 to Ebdon, having been 8-7 up, which is frustrating. Typical Ebdon though, a fighter.

The draw for the Crucible is this lunchtime, we are looking for Lisowski, Trump and (?) Robertson (? not sure if you got on)

Danny Danny Swanson is back on the radar after another incred performance against the Orns.

That was the second time he'd scored first from a handful of starts this season and he's long odds-on to start again v Brighton tomorrow.

Lads are 20-1 about him scoring first and 7-1 about him scoring any time. He only has 70mins max in him at the moment, so I prefer the 20-1 to bink first. of the two bets

Recommended Rebuff Staking Plan

£10 Swanners to score first, 20-1 Lads, £10 to score any time, 7-1 Lads.

After the Cabrera near-miss, I'm paranoid about a rebuff, but.......

Ladbrokes are now 16/1 FGS, & 5/1 AnyTime.

I'll check some other sites, but if we can't get 20/1 & 7/1, it is "no bet" I assume?

The Crucible Draw is at http://livescores.worldsnookerdata.com/RoundList/Tournament/13297

Lisowski got Barry Hawkins..very winnable, but then Selby

Trump..Dominic Dale. Fine

There are a few talented qualifiers against out of form top sixteeners that we should be able to back as dogs

Will put those up before the weekend.

Bear in mind last year 7 of the top 16 lost in the first round at the Crucible. Whilst this was a high figure, we should be on the lookout for a few this year

Play starts on Saturday.

Top work Tighty, thanks.

We can build a little book, but there were lessons to be learned, I think, from The Masters, so we just need to control things better I think.

You & I won;t be able to watch too much snooker this weekend though. Such is life.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/cricket/week-county-cricket-middlesex-looking-1833651#.UWwAx9OwPes.twitter

"They began the season with an emphatic 10-wicket victory over Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge. It is the seam bowling attack of Toby Roland-Jones, James Harris, Tim Murtagh and Steven Finn (every so often) backed up by Neil Dexter and Gareth Berg that will be key to their success this year. It’s an attack that looks very capable of consistently taking 20 wickets"

Middlesex are into 9/2 JF, we are on at 7-1.

Hopefully we'll able to pocket some money.
