I like the Gomez bet too fwiw although think it is better to bet 6-1 fgs and 9/5 anytime with Paddy Power rather than ew.

As it happens, I just checked & whilst I am "full up" on FGS @ 6/1, they would allow me anything up to £71 on Gomez ANYTIME.

Any thoughts on taking some of that?

9/5 is value for sure.  I make him about 6/4 which is generally in line with the market.

This train is gathering its own momentum, we may as well go for it now.

We have £50 @ 9/5, Paddy Power, Gomez ANYTIME, Bayern v Barcelona.

We should back Dortmund HT-FT @ 4/1 now i think.  7/4 just to win the game is decent too but think the HT-FT is better as it is a bit stale.  For the HT-FT I make half kelly a gbp63 bet but I do think they will go off shorter than they are at the moment based on tonights result.

Thanks Stu.

On a roll, we have had Half Kelly plus a bit.

We have £65 @ 4/1, BetFred, Dortmund over Real Madrid, HT/FT.

well done tonight reds

what makes you think they will go shorter based on tonight?

personally i think mourinho has spotted how to beat bd and i am quite confident r madrid will go through

not sure having your most influential player agree a move to your big rivals (in league terms) a day before a game like this is ideal either

Just the fact a German team has hammered a Spanish team.  Relative value etc.  Obviously Barca had injuries etc but Dortmund are already a favourite for the game but these prices assume Real are a favourite and I can only see the market going one way after tonight.  I must confess I am not totally sure it is the correct move but I think it will happen.  i would be very confident that they will go off significantly shorter than 4/1 -FT.

It's all setting up nicely for Mourinho.

Alex boss Steve Davis has confirmed he will name a full academy 11 for the final game of the 2012/13 season against Walsall.

obviously crewe have an excellent academy e.t.c but there is no way the price wont crash on walsall

obviously walsall have nothing to play for now either but as others have said that can be overestimated

worse case scenario walsall decided to field a slightly weakened side and the bet is still going to be at best price

Deffo a Max?

Can still get 13/8 with Coral, which just beats Betfair, currently 2.54.

Walsall nothing to play for? Are you serious? Eso Kral told us they were going for everything.

yep im sticking my neck out here

once this news is digested in the morning and the coming days there is no way the price will last imo

however good an academy x1 is or isnt a whole team is a brave move at once
