An idea for 18.40 Punchestown, depends on being eligible for BetVictor's Mullins offer. £25 e/w Moscow Mannon best priced with VC 5-1  and lay off win part on exchange, to beat betfair place odds (1.83) and with added spice of money back if 2nd to  Un De Sceaux

I think he has already backed Rock On Ruby each way with VC.  4 of the other 5 are trained by Mullins.  You could even lay the place at 1.81 with Betfair if you were feeling exceptionally risk averse.

Rock on Ruby has drifted since last night for those that have missed the  opportunity to take up the BetVictor offer

Can't deny that, but prices are now 2/7 and 5/1 vs 13/8 and 11/2 at Cheltenham.  With the returned money for 2nd and the places terms (evs vs 4/5 betfair), then just don't think we can give it a miss.

Obviously hoping he isn't going to hate the conditions too much.

FWIW The 18.05 now looks a great race for the BetVictor offer.  Down to 3 runners, so you can back Ubak and he only has to avoid coming last.

Yup, we are already on ROR, for better or worse, I placed it this morning.

Just going back to those Football Bets, & the Summary that Tighty kindly did. (Minus one or two).

For the record, we ONLY settle bets when it is mathematically certain, & properly settled by the bookie.

It is tempting to take seeming dead ducks off early, & I was tempted to at the end of March, when we were awash with winners & ROI, but that's a slippery slope.

Walsall Up Down Middle, of course, is an exception.

Exactly.

Impossible to lose. Virtually.

Anyway, hopefully we will have cleaned up by then with ROR.

It's fine Adam, don't worry.

We have had 40 odd games to get there, so if we miss, no complaints. For your sake, I hope you get the Promotion.

Anyway, we can still win it. Donny have to win, & B'Mouth draw at best. Simple.

It looks as if I am going to have to follow the Walsall bet too, looks a fantastic spot.

But using the same mentality as the suggestion, I am tipping Charlton to beat M'boro at Middlesbrough this weekend at 12/5.

Middlesbrough nothing to play for and have seen some M'boro fans saying that their manager is putting a few of the u21's in for what is a meaningless match for them, whilst Charlton have a very slim chance of sneaking into 6th place, whilst boasting an impressive away record. It seems M'boro will be playing a weaker side, already out of form and up against a form team in Charlton. I am definitely expecting a weak M'boro side being put out by M'boro.

Suggest £40 @ 12/5, which is a good price considering with Coral (also a few more at 12/5 also)

Tikay, posted this earlier & some more infromation on this.

Seems M'boro are an in injury crisis of some sort and seem they will be playing a fringe side because of this & game is worthless.

From M'boro site:

Seb Hines is to undergo surgery on a micro-fracture in his knee and could be out for four months. Jonathan Woodgate will miss the game following his red card at Bolton on Saturday. George Friend and Emmanuel Ledesma will miss out with hamstring and ankle problems respectively. Merouane Zemmama also has an ankle problem and will be assessed, as will Lukas Jutkiewicz, who has been receiving treatment on a knee injury.

Thanks Aaron, I meant to reply before actually, sorry.

Looks good on the face f it, but think my question was going to be, and remains valid - is all that news already in the price? The value, the interest, the edge, comes from a stale price.

If it passes that test, fine, we will get on.
