Think we lost a few bob there, but we have a £25 Free Bet from Ladbrokes to come, and Neil gave us Van Der Neer on which we had £10 EW, so not a total washout.

One down, 4 to go with the Chompy Aiden thing, too.

Forgot the £50 double on Dawn Approach and Hot Snap?  We have a big sweat.

Completely forgot it, yes!

Proper sweat tomorrow afternoon now. And I have to go to work mid-afternoon, but there are plenty of TV's in the office.

Bugger, the afternoon nap over ran badly........

Awoke to see Walden play a quite horrendous choice of shot to lose the first frame of the evening and go 13-12 down. Ugh.

surely goes to a last frame decider?

both look like they should have the squiqqle under any sort of pressure to me

Whoever wins this semi is in for a royal dicking in the final.  Might explain why neither looks like they want to win....

Not quite a squiggle, but pretty poor by their standards. Easy to criticise from our armchairs of course, but for both of them it is the biggest moment of their careers.

Some guys have the bottle and are natural winners, others are just that bit short of the class to get over the line.

Ronnie will be the biggest certainty ever ever ever.

Yes, a monster defeat faces tonight's winner, it would be a huge leap of imagination to see Ronnie losing.

that was harsh of me

they have done better than expected to reach this stage, the commentators keep mentioning how good friends they are which personally i would have thought would help the game flow

I'd imagine the £73k they're playing for is what's causing the twitches, that is unless they've had a carve up...

Not really harsh, but not so much a squiggle, as trying them in blinkers, or maybe have them both cut. That would be harsh. The mere thought may help them concentrate.

Can't see Walden winning another frame if Hawkins clears up here.

Sent Walden a note.

"Do you know what "gelded" means?"

Trump loses, which is no surprise to anyone at this stage

Felt a bad bet the moment we knew Ronnie was in form and had come to play, but of course the bet went on before that, and then they were drawn in the same half

Anyway, Walden is a squeaky one tonight now

I should have got Fred on Ronnie, but hesitated, waiting for a better price than 6/1, but once his form became known, the price just plunged. I have him myself, but would much rather Fred had the bet, morale and all that.

Then it looked like Keef had saved our bacon with a cracking Walden saver, only for Walden to go completely to pieces just 5 frames fom home. Lost eight in a row now, I think.

His eyes will be watering shortly. Fetch me my scalpel.

If Wigan win their game in hand (big if),anyone from 9th down in the Premier League can still get relegated....

Even assuming they survive, what price Pardew to keep his job?
