Boxing stinks.

Did anyone watch that fight where the Puerto Rican just quit on his stool before the tenth round when he was about six rounds in front?

Didn't look terribly bothered did he for a man who had lost a Title fight and "broken his wrist"?!

They're saying a broken wrist but he visibly tired after the 7th and looked like he didn't fancy it anymore after outclassing Burns all night. His trainer looked gutted.

I agree that he seemed to have used up a lot of energy in the 7th and obviously expected to win it there, but surely with his skills and reach advantage he could have easily got on his bike for a few rounds. Unbeaten record on the line too.

Having said that, Burns has got a lot of heart.

Incredible fight.  Burns has some heart but he was outclassed there totally.  Amazed Gonzalez quit he only had to get through 4 more rounds.
