Horse trainer called Tony Martin also. Good friend of Ted Barron's.
Vallarta now 13/2, oi oi! Who knew the 9/1 misclick would end up valoo?
You don't think the price has contacted because of all the money that has gone on it from one ippy?

The Champions Trophy
This is a very lopsided competition due to the composition of the draw
Group b has SA, Ind, Pak, WI
Group A Eng, NZ, Aus, SL
top two in each make the semis....
In A, Aus are in disarray, SL won't have the bowling, NZ are under-rated but unlikely winners (albeit a good track record of making semi finals as underdogs) England have a fantastic draw here to get through and are probably value at 7-1
In B, this is a far tougher group. SA, WI and Pak all genuinely dangerous one day teams. Like the look of WI and Pak myself but far from certain either will make it through the group
So value is in A, e/w odds are 1/3 top 2, so try to find a team that will make it through and then back their semi final opponent to get a freeroll (its ok Channing is asleep)
My bet is
New Zealand e/w at 12-1, small, to re-assess should they make the semi.
Eight decent teams, 15 matches in 15 days..what's not to like?

Just so I'm clear on this, we are suggesting New Zealand at 12/1 to win OUTRIGHT, yes?
If so, the EW odds, as far as I can see, are HALF odds, 1-2. That is what Sporting Bet offer, anyway.
The Oddschecker Champions Trophy page is strangely absent at present.
Please confirm. Best price currently 11/1. Our position is reserved.

NZ is a trading position
I think they have as good a chance as Aus and Sl of making the semis
I do not expect them to win it, but hope to be able to trade them out shorter if they reach the final four
an alternative therefore is to back on Betfair now (they are the outsider of 8, in the easiest group)and re-assess down the line
http://www.betfair.com/exchange/cricket/market?id=1.107019642&exp=e
take the £21 at 13 and I will advise when to reverse. (a win or two will help)

Chris Rogers is out for 184 at Lords against Sussex
He is doing his best to give us a shout before he departs for the Ashes at the end of this month
the current LVCC1 Captain runs are
Rogers 740
Durston 484
Trescothick 405
Joyce 336
Troughton 288
Collingwood 233
Gale 210
Batty <200
Read <200
Sadly, Middlesex have only one more match before Rogers leaves, Yorkshire next week

Very unlikely he will hang on, but he has done everything we could have asked, & more besides. Don't forget he has helped our Middlesex wager, too.

Who wants to take a stab at how many runs in total will be scored between India & South Africa in Cardiff today? India are (were?) 179/1 after 30 overs.
So far, if Cricinfo is correct (it has been playing up today) only 2 x 6's for the Little People.

Currently 209/1, with 2 6's for the little people.
