Just one for now on the BetVictor promo.  Maths is throwing up a couple of others that look good but both drawn low, so holding fire for now.

Think we should put £25 on Rizeena in the 17.00.  Put it on the nose, as the each way terms aren't great.

I think we should also use a £25 free bet on Mutin in the 2.30.  Love backing Frenchies in the UK.  Only issue is that we missed earlier due to kids getting in way of posting. Still think we should do this anyway as we will get best odds guaranteed with Hills and BetVictor.

I notice Camel's horse he put up for the last under the BetVictor promotion is 14s now.  Guess that means we should give it a miss?

On

BetVictor had best odds on Oddschecker with exception of Coral (13/2) who didn't actually have the odds on their site.

We didn't miss value on Rizeena, because we get an offer on top and pay no commission, so the BetVictor price is more valuable.  Will send you the calc by pm if you like.

Was probably best to wait for Mutin, it is now back to .  Of course Betfair is now bigger, but we aren't going to be beating Betfair very often in betting, so think it is fine to take now.  I assume I am always losing 10% or so with free bets.  8/1 feels a good price anyway to me, and we get best odds guaranteed if it drifts anymore.

Meanwhile, just when you think things cannot get worse......

I have purchased some Vegas action in Fred's ESC Correspondent & Authorer of books on the effect of the draw in racing. Complete tosser, obv.

He just sent me this encouraging message via PM.

$550 Day 1a at Wynn today. Made it will second level before going out. With the worst hand.

2nd level! Close as it gets to a sweat with Chompy.

Second level after dinner! Ridic edits of my pm's by Dick van Dyke.

Did we back Sir Keith Hawkins each-way as I recommended?

Re: Ascot draw, I wouldn't go nuts expecting it to be the same tomorrow. They can change things quickly here with a bit of sophisticated watering cannery. Plus, as Sean 'Boycie' Boyce will confirm, there's no such thing as draw biases. It's all about where the best pace is.

Tricasts are a horrible bet now. Some bookies used to add 25 or 33% on to winning dividends but now, if the first three come from the same section of the draw, they can chop up to half off. It's like a premium charge for tricasts.

There was a tiny bit of rain today, be very surprised if they water tonight. They probably will later in the week.

The pace was in the middle in both the Kings Stand and the Windsor Castle, yet the stands side won both races. I'm pretty convinced it's a massive advantage to be stands side.

Yep, agree about tricasts. Changed my line of attack.

Each way lucky 15s!

2.30 Montridge, Ninjago
4.25 Field of Dream, Two for Two, Moran Gra
5.00 Kailulani, Rizeena, Fast
5.35 Fleeting Smile, Stresa, Sorella Bella.

At 10p each way comes to £162

Or the lite version

2.30 Montridge
4.25 Two for Two
5.00 Rizeena
5.35 Fleeting Smile.

£1 each way is £30

Oooooh.
That looks like fun.
Thanks for posting early.
I'll leave this to simmer overnight.
Some feedback would be spifffing.

If I understand it correctly we are now in favour of trebles and four-folds on the above horses.
If we plump for the 11 horses does the online system offer all the permutations in an easy to choose option?
Also, can you advise on the best bookie to go with.
If we can pick something that risks around £50 in total that sounds fun to me.

Daily Report

Loss on Month £114.25

Outstanding Bets £1056.25

A profit of over £400 yesterday made a sizeable dent in the June loss. Declaration of War did the business as did the ACT Brumbies, offset by virtually every other Royal Ascot selection and the last two Greyhound Derby selections falling in the same heat at the quarter final stage

Today, Royal Ascot Day 2, where no doubt a smaller book than yesterday will have mushroomed with selections, free offers, enhanced offers and banzai's by off time

At the Oval, England play South Africa in the semi final of the Champions Trophy. Its meant to be muggy and it should swing.

Think we should put the standard £25 on with Hills.   Think you'll get a free bet if it is 2nd too.  Think you had to be on the mobile to get the free bet.

Yeah, not sure how long it is around for. I'm on for £25 also, not sure if maxxed at that & you definitely need to go via William Hill mobile app on mobile for free bet, 2 offers in one.

The max isn't going to be much more than that, and it is £25 for the offer, so seems as good a number as any.

Think we should do £25 on Montiridge in the first on Hills too.  It is one of Camel's tips and Hills are best.  Again we need to use mobile to get the offer.

Al Kazeem is biggest at Ladbrokes at 5/2 in the 3.45 and they are doing the 2nd place offer.  I know it looks like we are backing every horse in the race but each bet should be +EV so I am sure it is fine.

There should be something worth picking out in the 3.05 to pick up the Hills and Ladbrokes offers, but I haven't looked yet and going out for a bit.  There are 3 short priced horses in this race which is good.

thank you

George North is confirmed fit, which is important

I think the Wallabies will try to get parity up front. I think with Hooper they are likely to have an advantage at breakdowns. Certainly have the firepower out wide.

An important area to watch will be the front five. The Lions like to scrummage long, and use their power. The Australians like to scrummage short, get the ball in and out. The refs for the first two games are Southern Hemisphere and it remains to be seen whether the Lions will be allowed to scrummage long becuase interpretations are different down there

Will be very tight, but still fancy Australia something like 2-1 for the series

I think it could be relatively low scoring on Saturday too. Lots of kicking penalties and not a lot of risk taking. Something like 35-40 points total so scope for an unders bet

Will wait for the official team confirmations then pop a post up

An going out so can't monitor.  Coral doing price boosts every 15 mins for the next hour.  Garswood is the first which is a bit meh.  It is slightly better than Betfair and bet365 are matching it and you get the 4/1 offer with them.

Somebody else should watch what comes up and monitor B365 too.

Got to go.  Good luck
