Daily Report

Profit on Month £73.19

Outstanding Bets £1256

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=25

As the minute waltz fades away and the clock moves towards midnight on the month a very good Saturday swung us back into profit for the month

three completed bets, three winners

Storm King at 5-1 Doncaster last night for Horseplayer (+£150)

Unders Points at Melbourne for Hector (+£20)

Australia win at 7/4 too (+£105)

So +£275 on the day

Today, we have Spain at 6/4 in the Confed cup final, and a free bet if Brazil win.

The British Grand Prix has seen my tiny Di Resta bet fall on the scales of a scrutineers weighbridge when I was just about to double up. Win some, lose some.

The Tour De France continues, with yesterday providing shock scenes of crashes and stuck buses on the first stage. Hopefully Tonji will keep us up to speed on our various bets there

At Wimbledon, Djokovic won and on monday Murray plays Youzhny for a place in the quarters. It is 25-1 bar the pair in the betting with only 6 of the top 16 seeds through to the fourth round, so we look well placed there with bets/offers in place for either to win

Morning All.

Was going to wait a tad longer but the price is being nibbled at.

£20 ew Paul Lawrie for The Open at Muirfield.

Last couple of years has seen his game at its best, and is always seemingly buzzing around somehwer near the action. Muirfield and the rough they have in situ this year looks ideal for him, as a straight off the tee merchant. Last Muirfield Open he was 59th but he is a better player since then. Constantly working on his game, his latest blog notes he is working hard to get his swing plane lower as it was starting to rise. This is good, as he is still playing well anyway.
Very much a straightforward player suited to attritional courses, I see him as a sort of last man standing type bet, and he looks good value @80s but 120s(win only) on Betty(was 200s a few days ago)

Also think Thomas Bjorn looks good too at 66s. Playing well and finished high up last time at Muirfield and knocking on the door every week atm. Maybe £10 ew him.

Thanks. GL

A cool young German navigated the chaos to take the stage win & yellow.

Whilst the another German on the stretcher starts today,...touch insane.

Early days, all fred's bets are alive & kicking!

Got 100/1 on Paul Lawrie so took it.

Initially restricted to 79p (!) but a helpful gentleman on the phone allowed me £5 e/w - 1/4 odds 1-5.
First time they've ever allowed me more after calling.

Lots of firms offering 66/1 on Bjorn so will leave it for some comment if anyone feels so inclined.
I don't have a clue about golf betting personally.

Afternoon Mr Mere.

This afternoons super league sees Widnes host Leeds. It does seem that I am always doing it but i think Leeds should be opposed again at the prices on offer. They played each other 2 weeks ago at Leeds when Leeds had to come from behind to win by 10 points. With yet more injuries Leeds look weak in the pack and I almost feel sorry for Jamie Peacock who has to keep on piling up the minutes with no respite in sight.

I thought Widnes would be 11/10ish so the 13/8 we can get gives us the required wiggle room.

Suggest £20 Widnes @ 13/8 with Hills.

PROFIT!

Well done Gents. Great comeback.

Pretty sure Tighty nicked this line from somewhere.....

As the minute waltz fades away

Can you name all five pictured here?

Disqualified!

4 out of 5 no good.

I actually think that Mr Mystery Man is Peter Jones, he of "The Rag Trade" TV Show.

Just looking at the outright T20 odds.

Still very early days, and although rained off on Friday, I thought the Essex side looks pretty strong on paper for this year. Also never an easy place to go and play away.

Tom Westley
Hamish Rutherford
Mark Pettini
Owais Shah
Ravinder Bopara
Ryan Ten Doeschate
James Foster (C, W)
Graham Napier
Tymal Mills
Reece Topley
Shaun Tait

Not sure they should be as big 16/1 . Thoughts anyone?

Any news for our interests in the F1 GP @ Silverstone?

Vettel lost a gearbox when winning, and Alonso finished 3rd so that was bad for the season bet, but still winning

We missed the Webber tip that came 2nd e/w at 10-1 and was two laps from winning having fallen to 15th when Grosejean-ed at the start

Di Resta was done for when disquaiifed from qualifying

Four rear tyre failures at high speed was hairy. Hamilton the winner if he does't have one. Merc looked far more competitive on tyre wear

Was a very fine race

Thanks Tighty.

Vettel lost a gearbox?

Seems rather careless to me, they are quite big.
