At what price would people be looking to back Brazil to win the world cup?

Typo?

No chance of 9-1, they are 7-2 favourites.

That might be skinny, but at home, the likes of Neymar and co and that crowd they won't see 9-1 at all

Can't see them going 5-1+ at all before the event

I haven't looked at current odds, but considering their low ranking (for Brazil anyway), that they aren't all that.

I am sure that usually the favoruites for WC and Euro's are generally priced at 5's, so considering that Brazil are not doing amazing, that I would be happy to get on at 9's.

Perhaps they are 7/2 because they have already qualified? Surely that price has to get bigger... but not seeing 9's for sure though...

did you watch the game last night?

Spain were off the pace, but there isn't a hope in hell Brazil they won't be favourites for their home World Cup with this team

I watched the first half & yeah they was the better team, but Spain have been off the pace all the tournament & the 120 mins against Italy never helped.

What price would you back them at? I am still confident that 7/2 will get bigger

edit - you're right though, never going to see 9's, not even close thinking about it

Brazil. Spain. Germany. Argentina way clear in the market and these must be the four big guns

Bias to the S American teams at home I reckon, though the draw and who is drawn to play where matters in these conditions

If I saw Brazil at 9-2...

don't think we'll see 5-1

I just cant see a euro team winning it, and surely Brazil with home advantage have to have the edge?

Surely 7/2 just isn't enough to justify a long term position thou? (ie its probably about right?, if not too skinny?)

not many teams are through yet, so I am definitely of the thought that price will get bigger

not really sure about Argentina though, they have been rather 'meh' for quite a period now.

With it being the world cup, I assume there will be plenty offers, maybe a way to try and boost a price?

and are Italy really as long as 16/1?

Yes to offers nearer the time. Not sure you'd need to tie up money in Brazil now even with an offer. Plenty of chances for a shorter sweat elsewhere first

Are Italy really going to beat one of the big four? can they improve in 2013-14 enough to do that?

Would have thought quarters and maybe semis is the limit for Italy, Belgium, Holland etc etc
