One ball in and I'm already playing catch up!

Stanley ‏@Golf_Stats
@Sandybhoy777 No holes-in-one in six of last seven years @ TPC Deere Run; two holes-in-one in last year at Castle Stuart despite only 3 rds.

Betvictor and Skybet 8/11 no hole in one in TPC Deere (that's America).

Sandy

On.

Having missed last week's bet, I'm not going to pass this week.

henrik777   SkyBet   15-Jul   Golf   TPC Deere   No hole in one   8/11   £55

No Hole in One
Win Specials: Event Specials
1.73   £55.00   £95.00

Skybet were 5/6 for a hole in 1 at Inverness but 1 year didn't seem enough to go with. Sad

Sandy

That's 2 holes in one @ Inverness, remember this for next year, lump on.

Sandy

11/10 Skybet

Evens betvictor & coral.

Noone picked up on it, but the interview with Clarke was pretty telling just before kickoff. He said something along the lines of 'this is the XI the selectors have gone with'. He's just stepped down off the selection committee, whether it was his choice or not, and that really sounded like he wasn't really on the same page as the selectors. The last thing the Aussies need is to send their best player and skipper in a huff, could be huge if that happens.

It wasn't his choice, he wanted to remain a selector

Don't think he picks Agar or Smith.

Think that's huge, being forced to have players in your team you would not have picked and it would have been your choice before this game. Not likely to throw the kid the ball if u don't think he's good enough. Reckon if they lose this test they would lose 5-0....and if they go in tonight with england 300/3....all to play for!

The draw was 4.5 before the game when everyone was expecting a flat track.  Half an hour in and the odds are 3.15,  even though the ball has done a bit more than I thought it would and looks like the pitch is going to deteriorate quicker than expected.  No way this game is ending a draw a third of the time in my opinion!  The draw price will continue to drop, I'll be looking to lay it later in the day

Agree with this

If you look at the cracks and the mess already in the footholes, it shouldn't be a draw assuming decent weather

Will be tough to bat last

Has Trott somehow faced 120 deliveries this morning? He appears to have scored 18 runs.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/ashes/england-v-australia/top-england-bowler

Worth a watch

Swann is a favourite to be top bowler in Australia's Innings, to my mind

Weather forecast is hot and dry for tomorrow

pitch already cracked, footholes etc

Agar has it off square on the first morning, and the longer England bat the better for any Swann position

Only Skybet have prices up, but I think Swann is well under a 3-1 shot.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto. Spurs fans absolutely love him. He's not a conventional footballer. He doesn't like football. Today is the latest example of his Bennyness:

Tighty, a project for your juice-gushing stat glands:

England's team today is

Cook
Root
Trott
Pietersen
Bell
Bairstow
Prior
Broad
Swann
Finn
Anderson

A total of 16 syllables.

Has a test team ever had fewer?
