You could back him to win 2-0 or 2-1 for £10 each at 3.5 and 4.5, is that better?

Morning Mr T.

Having a break from finding things on Pathe news web site I had a look at the tennis.

This morning Fognini plays Almagro in the semi final. He has a 1-3 record versus him but they have not met for 4 years, when Fognini was still maturing, and it is slightly relevant that his win came in the 4th meeting. Looking at their results over the last 2 years against good clay court players it seems that Fognini's record is better. Coupled with his victory in the previous tournament should mean that he was favourite today, but he is not.

Suggest £20 Fognini to beat Almagro @ 6/5 with Ladbrokes.

Morning Milky.

Pathe News is the greatest. Gotta love that cockerel crowing.

We have £20 @ 6/5, Ladbrokes, Fognini to beat Almagro.

Thank you!

Hi Exstream,

Not sure what you mean by "flags up in accounts".

We are on at 6/5, which, as I'm sure you know, is the same as 2.2. Probably. I think.

Irish Oaks tomorrow at The Curragh. Boilsports money back (cash, not free bet) if 2nd. Boils best price both market leaders, Talent & Riposte, both 3/1, both trading shorter on Betfair. Suggest punting either or both for Fred.

Like that, but I need help in deciding which to back, or whether the maths allows us to back both.

Looks like a bet though, once we work out what and how.

Kp is right, back both, one with PP, one with Boyles.

Riposte is 11/4 with PP, Talent 5/2 so Riposte it is

Both ON.

Got restricted by PP to £20, so made the Boyle bet £20, too. Don't really know why.......

We got 3/1 (3/1!) Riposte with PP & 11/4 Talent, with Boylesports.

Details to be confirmed later, am pokering this evening.

Thanks KP, Doobs.

Confirmation ONLY

We have £20 @ 3/1, Paddy Power, Riposte, Irish Oaks. MONEY BACK IF SECOND

And £20 @ 11/4, Boylesports, Irish Oaks. MONEY BACK IF SECOND

Love this opening gambit from the BBC Open Coverage.

With age comes wisdom, so they say, and Jimenez has offered us all an insight into how to negotiate a brutal 18-hole course. "Enjoy yourself, what you do in life - that's the secret - that's what I'm doing," he said.
"I'm going to hit some balls, I'm going to have a nice cigar, have dinner with my girlfriend and with my sons and when the sun comes up tomorrow I will deal with everything."
0910:

"Sometimes you say maybe it's too many years, but you're wrong," said 49-year-old Miguel Angel Jimenez after setting the pace at the halfway stage. The quirky Spaniard shot a level-par 71 to sneak a shot ahead of a group of four players on -2. A chasing pack, I should add, which includes Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood.
0900:

Many a lesson has been learnt over the opening two rounds on a firm and ferocious Muirfield course, but perhaps the greatest of them all has been to never tell a fortysomething Spaniard, a man setting his sights on becoming golf's oldest major winner, that he is getting on a bit.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

A couple of days ago, Tal mentioned a greyhound for tomorrow and as it turned out I'd backed it antepost for the competition.

I've topped up at 7/1 and think it is worth £10 of TfT's money as it is almost certainly going to lead and definitely hold more often than 1 time in 8.

The race is the final of the Produce Stakes and we should back Son Of Delboy at 7/1 with either PP or Boyles.

Johnnys Boy is the favourite, coming from trap 6, but is far too short for me at 8/13 and I think he'll get held up by Klockwork Kaipo early. Kaipo beat Delboy in semis when he went past him at halfway before Delboy rallied to lose by about half a length. Think there is a chance SoD goes further clear in this race and Kaipo will have more competition for the run at Delboy.

Here's a video of Delboy from the 1st round which doesn't really tell us much as we know he is a pinger but it is very pretty.

Happy for the recommend to go down as Tal's as I assume he probably wanted to recommend it.

CONFIRMATION ONLY

We have £10 @ 7/1, Son of Delboy, 21.50 Swindon.

Bet owned by Tal, but highly recommended by Scott.

Warwickshire v Northants T20 tomorrow

Big fan of Northants, but 4 of their 5 wins in the T20 this season are at home

Warwickshire really coming into form, won last couple of Championship games and really need a win in the T20 to keep hopes of qualification alive. They've won their last two T20 games too after a horrible start

Very very very rare to see Warwickshire 6/4 at Edgbaston to a second division side, even in the T20 and the price is just looking at the table and not discounting the huge improvement in Warwicks form

Valie bet £40 Warwicks over Northants PP or Boylesports

Game is tomorrow 1pm

CONFIRMATION ONLY

We have £40 @ 6/4, Boylesports, Warwickshire to beat Northamptonshire.

At the risk of single handily breaking Tips for Tikay, William Hill are still doing their finish 2nd in a TV race get a free bet offer on MOBILE.

I assume we have mobile again, so £25 the win

2.40 Royal Empire 13/8
3.15 Krypton Factor 15/8
Newmarket
1.50 Es Que Love 7/2

This also applies to the 4th at Newbury but Linbourne Lass is too short, and the races at Newbury where everything is too short.

It appears that Tighty has become temporarily, & intermittently, indisposed, & Mere is away all weekend, so please bear with me, the Spreadsheet may get a bit behind, but it'll be Updated at least once per day.

The Daily Reports will continue, though there may not be much detritus of a batting miasma sorta stuff. "They were shite" is the limit of my vocab.

The Lords Test

Not sure if this helps us or not, or we can take advantage of it via an opportunistic wager, but in London today, it is heavily overcast, with high humidity, no blue sky, & dark clouds a-plenty.

My source at Lord's tells me it has dropped in temperature markedly in the last hour.
