Should the Shergar Cup bet be filed under
Novelty
?
Yup.
Good.
Silly lot of nonsense.

Shergar Cup weekend...
The time for all racing punterers and journos to book their annual holiday. Just lol that this is still going.

Mosse's last three rides are likely to be double-figure prices. His first two are channers but I don't think they'll be favourite tbh.
Lol. Unlike Chompy to knock a suggestion of mine.
With two days to go they were predicted fav in SL. I can only work with the tools I am given.
Either way he shouldn't be the outsider.
Now get back to C 5 And leave me alone.

Not meaning to knock Adzy. Is the Sporting Life early tissue the same as the PA tissue that goes in national papers? If so, these are knocked up by computer in about 10mins and the biggest pile of plop you could imagine. Chris Wilson is a better odds compiler.

Another one to chew the fat over
http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/blackpool-fc/pool-hit-by-injuries-1-5937281
Catchart captain and best defender missing through injury
Ince suspended (looked devoid of ideas when he didnt have the ball in the week)
Phillips still injured
Martinez injured
If no loan signings made bench will look like this
Halstead, Harris, Eccleston, Barkhuizen, Banvo, Caprice, Watt
I like to think i have a decent knowledge of the league but i am not to familar with any of those bar Eccleston
Now i am in a quandry as unlike other good judges I am expecting Barnsley to go down this season (or go close to it)
Any views?

The market does not seem to perturbed yet anyway with the team news

is it still settled on points for 4th e.t.c as well?
Mosse rides look ok to me no more than that, pretty hard to judge what price he should be 7-1 with 365 looks to short 16-1 with lads is at worst fair i think.

Glad to see you are putting the elbow grease in. Looking at the predicted favourites in the Sporting Life is obviously a much tougher gig than building and updating a spreadsheet with all the runners and firms for the US PGA.
To be fair I tried to back Mosse last night, Ladbrokes wouldn't take a penny. Surprised the price was still there. They must only slash the price if they lay me buttons.
Leave Chomps alone, his C5 fixation feeds my kids.

At first sight, 100/30 does look big, all things considered. I'm not a huge Ince fan, but Blackpool must be a very different team without him.

Best go to work, swept away on a tsunami of positive vibes.
This forum is best left to the Elders to pat each other on the back while us onlookers just watch meekly from the sidelines and marvel at some of the "inspiring" results.

I am not convinced with him either but its hard to deny they always look for him and he put in some excellent set pieces to nearly land our bet...
I would originally think this would give a chance to someone else to step up but without Phillips as well i really struggle to see who and how they are going to create many chances in the game.

Was that the game we backed Mackenzie, who had three decent half-chances?
He is available at between 6/1 & 14/1 for ANYTIME tomorrow......

I wont pretend i am not tempted Tikay
However without Ince putting in the quality chances will be surely more limited. I am also wary that if Barnsley have done any homework they will be paying him a lot more attention at set pieces than was the case in mid week

Suarez to stay in Liverpool after the transfer window?
No? Victor will give you 5/4
Yes? Lots of bookies go odds against.

Boxing
Nathan Cleverly faces his toughest challenge to date against big punching Sergey Kovalev on Saturday. Cleverly's career has stagnated in the past couple of years for one reason or another but this is a proper test. Kovalev has blasted his way through all of his opponents to date, however they have all been second tier so far. As a rule I like to oppose big punchers who are stepping up in class as they are often found lacking in ideas when they discover they can't blast their opponents out of their. Cleverly is much better technically and has a solid chin although he does have a tendency to leave himself open at times. If he can take Kovalev's power (I believe he will) I think he boxes his way to a relatively comfortable points victory. I can't have him as the dog here and 5/4 is a cracking price. Recommend £60 @5/4 with Bwin (6/5 also good).
