We're on Dexter top male @ 4/1 Tikay!

Top Male, not Winner, which was what Jeff asked.

4/1 not 9/2?

Manipulating the numbers, eh?

Of course, but we get paid if Dexter is victorious Wink

I missed the initial 9/2, but I managed to get £75 on the 4/1 at 365. Annoyingly, once I had maxed that Boyles decided to offer some 9/2 themselves!

Impossible for Dexter to win Outright, Chompy said so, look......

1. Gina 2. Sam would give us appriox a £500 profit.
1. Sam would give us approx a £170 profit.
1. Gina 2. Dexter 3. Sam would give us approx a £650 profit.

Sam now clear fave for BB, Gina on the drift.....but all the money is for Dexter. How much does Fred win if Dexter is victorious? Any Chompy's about?

Looks like this morning was the last trip to the supermarket for a while.  Kids going to be on gruel if team maths don't come good on Sunday.

Have faith, we are in terrific shape.

I follow Nick Goff on Twitter. He's a good bloke, plays some poker and is the top football guy at Corals. It's @nickgoff79 if you'd like to follow.

 He just tweeted:

"If Blackpool don't drift tomorrow I'll be shocked. There's no way the big dogs will allow them to go off odds on".

I only say that because I think Horsey was suggesting opposing them. Corals are evs which is an arb with Betfair. Nick might be the only bloke in that place who actually is interested in laying bets.

Boxing

Nathan Cleverly faces his toughest challenge to date against big punching Sergey Kovalev on Saturday.  Cleverly's career has stagnated in the past couple of years for one reason or another but this is a proper test.  Kovalev has blasted his way through all of his opponents to date, however they have all been second tier so far.  As a rule I like to oppose big punchers who are stepping up in class as they are often found lacking in ideas when they discover they can't blast their opponents out of their.  Cleverly is much better technically and has a solid chin although he does have a tendency to leave himself open at times.  If he can take Kovalev's power (I believe he will) I think he boxes his way to a relatively comfortable points victory.  I can't have him as the dog here and 5/4 is a cracking price.  Recommend £60 @5/4 with Bwin (6/5 also good).

Thanks Bazza.

Oddschecker list this fight as Saturday 17th, but I'm pretty sure that is incorrect.

Anyway, I got on early this morning.

We have £60 @ 6/5, BetFred, Cleverly to beat Kovalev.

Ooh, a rarity indeed.

No worries, the bet is on, & if you have read it right, the price can only shorten.

Next Saturday it is then.

The best bit is I moved plans for this Saturday to next Saturday so I was free to watch it. Oops!!

I will be surprised if he is still odds against by fight night.

For what it is worth I backed Barnsley in this game at 21/5 on Monday, got unlucky when a strong Barnsley team ended up playing xtra time in midweek and then got lucky with Ince getting suspended.  Have to be honest I just thought it was two bad teams and Barnsley ran into a strong team last week and ended up playing with 10 men which  cushioned the final score.

Bayern conceded 18 league goals last season.
22 the season before that.
1.86 for a clean sheet tonight.
What's the 'correct odds'?
Is 1.86 good or bad?

It is abs pissing it down atm in the golf, this is one of those spots now where you are in the lap of the gods, if it stops and they get away with just a shower they will be lucky , if the T storms come in and it gets a right soaking it will be v long again when they restart. There is a possibility it stops soon and then they get a soaking later and it plays long when they come back then.

At least Bo Van Pelt wont be getting wet the ****, all that injury talk and the only guy I back each way injures himself and withdraws.

Another thing about Blackpool

the pitch-beach was relaid in the summer, first time in several seasons, so Bloomfield Road first home game of the season will be playable, no home advantage from that. Saw plenty of "footballing" sides go there last year and be simply unable to play they way they would like.

I wouldn't judge Barnsley on losing to Wigan, with 10 men. Hope and think they should be better than that.Long season if they aren't.

FWIW I am on Barnsley and in underdog multiples

Steve Harmison on tms says the groundsman has told him the pitch was ready two days ago.

Should mean decent chance of spin later on for our Swann bet.

Bear in mind their away record was abnormally good last season. At home they kept clean sheets in 10/19 games.

Personally I came here to tip BTTS=yes in the game @2.1 ( i make it a 1.7 shot).

This doesn't take into consideration the Pep factor which I believe is on our favour. Pep is going back to his Barcelona roots by buying more midfielders, not playing an out and out striker and playing Martinez a DCM at CB. Fyi last season Barca kept 9 clean sheets in 38 La Liga matches.

Best go to work, swept away on a tsunami of positive vibes.

This forum is best left to the Elders to pat each other on the back while us onlookers just watch meekly from the sidelines and marvel at some of the "inspiring" results.

Back in an hour.x

Catching up on today's posts and got thus far, and whilst Adz is obviously exaggerating, there definitely has been undertones of what he suggests for a while now. Small sniping and fault picking.
