Back to the golf then.

We have a ton of good sweats, but that does not include Sterne, for Top South Aftica Bloke, who looks like he will miss the cut.

That's right single mine out, lol. Still, Doobs will surely save you... he backed half the field!

There's a fourth team in the Shergar Cup tomorrow, exclusively women.

Mystic Tal says:

- Doobs will find a way to back three of the teams with money back if the fourth team wins
- BadBeat will argue betting a 33/1 shot by explaining with persuasive precision why each of the other horses literally cannot win
- Chompy will advise us that low numbers for a certain trainer when the horse is carrying 3extra at exactly 2.05pm yields £21.87 to the £1 since 2007.
- Big Adz will go through the card, only tell us about two beforehand and the rest later
- Horseplayer will find the same winners for completely different reasons
- Aaron will find a great bet, it'll come just short but it won't matter, because Tikay backed it each way by mistake
- I will moan relentlessly about how pointless and rubbish the Shergar Cup is, then do my conkers hoisting myself by my pétard
- JaffaCake will pop in to question why Fred has put yet more money on a chess market.
- Camel will come back out of retirement from his hotel sickbed to concur with Dubai, who points out that the chess market was 175% overground and only a total mug would waste money on it.

But we'll have a bloody good time doing so.

The Cosa Nosta never forget.

I shall shortly retire to bed, and will no doubt find a horse's head in there. Probably that of my last racing tip....

Noted. I avoid it anyway. I don't know anything about some of the jockeys. That can't ever be a good thing!

Will waste it on a poker table instead Cheesy

Regarding the adz recommendation on Mosse, can someone explain to me how the points system works for top jockey? Points for places or just wins?

The market is all over the place right now : http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/racing-specials/long-term/shergar-cup/winning-jockey

Juding at those odds, without knowing anything else, and betfair (hardly any liquidity) currently being 10/1, Freds 16s must be value?

I understand the points for each ride are awarded as follows.....

Winner = 15 points

2nd= 10 points

3rd= 7 points

4th= 5 points

5th= 3 points.

Thanks Tikay, i quite like the bet, as long as we still have a chance of winning it by the last it should be a pretty fun sweat for the entire meeting.

How about that Dufner putting stroke as soon as he hit the front Tony, did he hit the ground first on 17? The one on 18 looked more like a cricket shot than a putting stroke didn't it.

He deservedly leads, imo, but he did not look to be carrying that distinction easily, and seemed very uncomfortable, mentally.

Hope he holds himself together, it is not pleasant to watch these guys go to pieces.

We can but imagine the pressure. Win a Major and it is life changing. Throw one away and the old and his wife mock him.
